In my club's Sartosa: City Of Pirates campaign I'm going to be dropping in hints and rumours about a strange race of Fishmen that are terrorising the coastal fishing towns. The players will probably assume it's a joke because of the constant in-jokes about the Fishman army as the next race GW are making for Warhammer. biggrin.gif

Little do they know, if any of them send a team to investigate they will have to fight my new Mordheim gang:
Kap'n Hadduk's Halibutteers!

Probably. rolleyes.gif

It's all very early stages at the moment but I've started a concept model of a "Fishman", somewhat based on a Call of Cthulhu "Deep One" or a World of Warcraft "Murloc" (Murlorc? tongue.gif ). Kap'n Hadduk's Halibutteers are going to be an Orc Warband dressed as Fishmen to scare the locals in a Scooby-Do kinda way! The Fishman costumes will hopefully look like they are crudely made from dead land-animal parts, canvas and large fish. Hopefully!

It's isn't finished by a long-shot but you get the idea - an Orc, jaw-bone bits from the Orc Chariot and Orc Command sprues, Goblin spear-tips, an Ogre club and a lot of Greenstuff!

If I can get enough of them done they may end-up as Black Orcs in my Pirate Orc army! cool.gif

C&C welcome! biggrin.gif

Looking great smile.gif Is the whole warband going to be sculpted in this fashion? I can imagine it being *really* imposing looking if it will be done this way tongue.gif

(You should try to buy a Warhound for one of your heroes and paint it up like Scooby too wink.gif)

Keep the pics coming smile.gif

Yeah, that's my plan. Each one will look slightly different - some will have fish tails, fish-hooks stuck in their gills, yucky aquatic trophies, etc.

I'm hoping to make them look stiched together and with a bit of "The Village" vibe.
I'm going to try to do at least a Boss, a Shaman, two Big'Unz and half a dozen Boyz (maybe more). Then maybe a Troll, a Standard and a Musician.

Just a couple of other random ideas (some silly, some not...):

1) Octopuss Helmet tongue.gif
2) Fish Fins Gloves / Boots
3) Shark Fin
4) Hammerhead Shark Head
5) Jellyfish helmet (painted as a Man-o-War)
6) *Cod*-Piece
