I use Army Builder, but apparantly there is some Games Workshop intellectual property issues with it at the moment, but after making a few lists I know what sizes and options I like with my units so have learned the points cost smile.gif

+1 to army builder. It is one of the better Army building platforms out there and has a good track record with its updates.

Always check the rules for the army agenst the army book though because you can edit it and make units have different stats and rules so it should never be taken at face value when your oponent shows you a rule on his army builder printed army roster. (It happened to me vs dwarfs at a turny. My oponent had the rules for frenzy on his Troll Slayers and argued profusly that they had it until we looked in his Army book.) laugh.gif

There is a Yahoo group that has been updating a "Free" version of Army Builder since V 2.1 or there abouts.

It really is a great program but its not a catch all for rules.

My old version became corrupt and I just bought the 3.0 version. I actually like it better. It was worth the investment.

How about phones? I was using Quartermaster on my iphone, but switched to Android. I've been using Battlescribe, but don't have data files for the new Chaos Dwarfs.

The problem with these companies is they provide the s/w for anyone to make a list with their s/w, but they can't do it themselves. So.....Army Builder (or Battlescribe) can't actually provide you data files. It's the problem I'm finding with Battlescribe.

+1 to Battlescribe. I run it on my Android tablet and love it. Now if GW would just find a copyright controllable way to allow Android digital products I'd have everything in one place at last.

Goregut - I have a datafile for Chaos Dwarfs LoA that I worked on with a bloke from CDO, so PM me if you want a copy.

I use Quartermaster on my iPhone, very satisfied. smile.gif Not free like I believe Battlescribe is, but with real easy access to all the army templates (Just google "Quartermaster templates").
