hey all, i have an idea to create a unit of khorne following black orcs. I have the idea for the look of the orcs but I plan on creating for them an altar of khorne. my idea is to convert a dwarf rune bench thing (cant quite remember the name) into a khorne altar. Does anyone have any other ideas on how to create a khorne looking altar?

Khorne is about simplicity - nice, uncomplicated ultra-violence. I'd probably just go for a chopping block drenched in blood, surrounded by beheaded corpses and skulls. If you want to make it mobile, you can base it on a chariot chassis and have it pulled by something Khornish.
Another take on the same idea is using Skrag the Slaughterer (an Ogre Kingdoms special character) as inspiration. He's a frenzied killing machine with a giant cauldron of blood and bodyparts chained to his back, after all... You should be able to bitz order the cauldron from somewhere if you like the idea. |
