Still pretty new to the game myself but have faced wood elves in a few low point games and they are absolutely brutal. Shooting + mobility make them very hard to compete against. One game, I took dwarfs and only a single dwarf ever got into close combat (my Thane).

Personally, I would drop Snagla and the spider riders as your opponent will likely shoot them to bits and cause them to panic. Seem like easy points.

The BOs would also worry me as they are a very small unit. Maybe give them shields if its possible to find the points.

Flaming banner seems like an auto-include somewhere in your list.

I agree with Gorbolg on dropping the Spiders and Snagla, us the points saved to add more bodys to your units.

Also dropping the Biguns upgrade for more bodys would be good to.

Well, I have changed my armylist a little: dropped spider riders, gave some protection to characters and for the rest 105 points I took 3 trolls. Finally I got:

Lords:

1. Orc Warboss (General, joins the Big Mob)
Armor of Fortune (35 pt)
Sword of Striking (15 pt)
165 pt.

Heroes:

1. Night Goblin Big Boss (30 pts)
Gambler’s Armor (20 pt), shield (2 pt)
BSB (25 pts)
joins the Small Mob
77 pt.

2. Night Goblin Shaman 1 lvl (50 pt) with 1 dispell scroll (25 pt)
75 pt.

3. Orc Shaman 2 lvl
Talisman of Endurance (30 pt)
130 pt

Core Units:

1. Big Mob
Orc Boyz
size 24
AHW
Big ‘Unz
music (10 pt)
standard (10 pt)
Flaming banner (10 pt)
total 246 pt

2. Small Mob
Night Goblins
size 39
music (10 pt)
standard (10 pt)
spears
2xFanatics (50 pt)
netters (45 pt)
total 232 pt

Special Units:

1. Orc Boar Chariot
Extra Orc Crew
90 pt

2. Trololo team
Trolls
size 3
105 pt

Rare Units:

1. Goblin Doom Diver
80 pts.

Total: 1200 pts.

And I WON! yarr.gif
Chariot was destroyed at the first round with single lucky shot of scouts-waywatchers.
Trolls were sacrificed: they charged opponent's wardancers to protect my night goblin's rear from wardancer's charge.
Doom Diver missed only once and was destroyed at 4-th turn. But before it slained waywatchers unit with one shot!
I wanted to catch driads with my Big Mob, but opponent prefered to move through fanatics to avoid this attack. At 5-th turn driads were slain by the Small Mob, and wardancers - by the Big Mob.
'Curse of da Bad Moon' was successfully cast on my first turn, but it didn't affect any unit.
At the end of 6-th turn I had about 75% of both of my infantry mobs and all characters, and my opponent - only two Glade Riders with a Hero.

As a result, I'm going to replace trolls with some fast cavalry, 'cause lack of mobility was my weakness today.

Congrats on the win. Lack of mobility agenst the Woodies is a very big issue. Its hard to keep your fast cav alive agenst them to as there shooting can be very dangerous the T3 models with low armour saves.

Another Doom Diver wouldnt be a bad thought to as the squishy Elfs hate them so. laugh.gif
