I have been putting this off starting a blog for long enough and now I'm working on finishing my Arock for a tourny coming up on the 22.
1 week and not enough time so to stay motivated I'm gonna post WiP shots and hopefully keep this going for long after just a week time with whatever I focus on next. Well I have enough finished models so I will also be posting pics of some of my other models at the same time so I don't swamp the first post with my whole army...without further adieu...

I started with a black basecoat to a dark blue coating over the entire model. I am currently working on putting mid range blue designs over the chitin armor. This has been done with a very light water'd down layer so get the designs and then gone back over with a heavier layer if I like how it is turning out. There is some flashing I missed on the spikes but I can grind that down after I finish up with the mid-blue.

And probably my 3nd model I was proud of back when I was playing Wood Elves.

And just so we have something green in the first post, besides the base on the truthsayer... some spider riders I posted a long time ago for a painting competition on some other site.

I think that will be a great looking design. I would definitely suggest going with it.

The spider riders really jump out at you. Nice work!

Very cool carno-wyvern. I think the new lighter blue on the spider looks really good too, nice work.

Your Wolf Riders look nice, especially their shields. The Araknarok is shaping up really nicely as well, it's going to look very vivid when you're finished. Keep up the good work!

I have not been working on this as much as I would like, my job getting in the way and all that... I have been working on the goblins which will be mounted on the howdah part along with the howdah.

And for my archived picture.

The one on the left is a terrorgeist(sp?) head and the right one is from the Tomb Kings sphinx model. Both are cold one bodies and the mounted goblin is (i believe) one of the Hobgoblin Khan models.

Thanks for the comments!

The aracnarok is progressing well. And good work on the mangler, I think the goblin comes from the old marauder wolf boyz ^^

Well I didn't get it 100% but its good enough for the tourny tomorrow, I know I will be going back and finishing the base along with quite a few details I just didn't have time for but I am pleased with the result.

Tomorrow I am bringing a list with my Wyv lord, the newly finished Arok, and my giant.

Thunderstomps galore wish me luck so I don't face a warmachine army tongue.gif

As for my archive pics...my Fro-Man
