You think that's bad? On New Zealand's trading site, there's a guy who's selling a TERRIBLY painted unit of FIVE orcs (with stupid conversions like an extra orc arm glued on TOP of his first) for $NZD40. That's be about $US25-35? And there's so much more stuff like this all the time on there! sad.gif

I buy minis bulk and sell them on split up for profit, and I will definitely agree with the percentages of price reductions for painted, unpainted etc. I see some people selling painted plastics for incredible prices, but the only things I know I can still get top dollar for if they're painted well are metal miniatures that don't have costumes/heraldry etc. Like a unit of bloodthirsters - they're usually painted red so you can sell them easily. But it'd be very difficult to get top dollar for a painted unit of Empire swordsmen, because everyone has their own version of what colours they'd like on their heraldry. I know I certainly pay more for unpainted stuff. I flat out refuse to buy 99% of painted plastics because I know they're harder to strip.
