The new Tamurkhan FAQ changes the much bemoaned K'daii Destroyer's "-1 to all wound rolls" rule to "successful wounds must be re-rolled". Well, at least now anyone can wound him like they should be able to...but really, most regular troops will be wounding him on 6's and re-rolling that, so that odd chance of wounding him probably won't matter. laugh.gif For troops with Str5-7 the odds of getting a wound in actually got worse, apparently.

Just to inform you guys. What do you think about this change?

Doesnt the BRB says that no matter what modifiers take place a 6 always wounds?
I mean, there are other cases where you "cant" wound a character except for the "6 always wound rule".
- 1 to wound is sick, but the new one is even more sick. The destroyer is tough as an ork shoe so rerolling those wounds is just Cheese.gif Oh, you got a 6, your only chance to wound my destroyer with everything but elite gw carrying troops and high str stuff? Guess what, you have to reroll. tongue.gif

My bad. Saw the first bit about flaming damage but failed to notice the final sentence at the end. blush.gif

As you say the new ruling fixes one problem and creates another. S5 is now 11% rather than 16%, S6 is now 25% rather than 33%.

They should have just said 6 always wounds (assuming this rule doesn't already exist).

Can't find that anywhere in BRB. Not in FAQs either.

My bad, just counts for the hits not the wounds. So the rule change was pretty good.
