I'm going on a road trip with my brother. Mostly because he's moving to another town and he wants some company, but we'll take our time. The first week of August will be spent in an annual Taekwon-Do training camp.
I am starting to think about going somewhere else in August, since I'm not sure if I have a job then and I do have the money for traveling. Where should I go? |

I've been criss crossing Sweden the last month (as well as the beginning of this one), living in a tent, as well as working at 5 music festivals
And as I wrote in my plog, now I am finally home! xD//Svarten This post has been edited by Svarten on Jul 11 2011, 02:22 PM |

I spent a week in at a lake in France (in the Domaine du Chalain) with a couple of days in Switzerland (in Geneva) and last month and I'm either going to Switzerland (to Zurich this time) or Sweden (near Helsingborg... I think?) later in the year, depending on family/friends schedules.
That sounds awesome! I missed our TKD summer camp this year as I broke two ribs just before it (I broke them in a Go-Karting crash, not doing Taekwon-Do!). ![]() What grade are you and what style of TKD do you do (ITF, WFT, GTUK, or something else)? |

I'm 1. Dan in ITF style. The organization is National Taekwon-Do Norway (NTN), and is a part of one of the ITF organizations. The last year I've been mostly the only instructor in my very small club, but I hope I have convinced someone else to join me so I get time to practice as well as instruct. I really enjoy those camps since the people are really nice and cool, and I get taught by the best instructors in the country, and I get to practice with some of the best athletes. Now that I think about it, I think I remember you being a TKD instructor as well from another thread. Ninja Pirate! This post has been edited by Da Git on Jul 11 2011, 06:39 PM |

Ninja Pirates Ahoy! Sounds like you are in a similar point in your training to me! Do you know all three 1st Degree Patterns yet? I know the first two (Kwang-gae and Po-Eun) but I'm still a bit shaky with the third (Gae-baek). Are yours the same ones?
Sorry Theo unfortunately not, just going to see a friend (also a 1st degree Black Belt as it happens!) who's just had a baby. |
