Member of the Month is a bit hard to define. The Mods sometimes forget to award one, and sometimes no one jumps out, but it's mostly awarded for giving back to the site.

It did take me 5 years to get one...

I just had a look at the blog section again today, and i think there's a lot of great blogs, and that it's the most interesting part of the forum.

So i was thinking, do you award "most memorable blog 2010" or something like that, like some ofter forums do? that would be kinda awesome

I think that is a great motivator to keep up the good work, as it seems most blogs ends after a few months, sometimes a year, while in other forums people seem better to keep their blogs running for long. It could very well be mentioned as a second topic description, making it more easily recognized, and make it possible for people to find it even after it dies, and become part of topic history

EDIT: Ah, just saw you had a medal for blogga of da month. Well i hope you'll consider nominating blogs any who.

Bidiot was the driving force behind Blogga of Da Month. It tailed off a bit but it would be nice to bring back, though it takes a lot of effort each month to catelogue every active blog. I'll raise it in the cave.

well, then instead of nominating a blog every month (blog of the month), maybe only once a year (most memorable blog 2010) or every 6 months ('most memorable blog spring 2010' and 'most memorable blog fall 2010')

that should limit the amount of work, and encourage longer blogs, instead of blogs that only last few months.
