Unless I am completely off (which is entirely possible) yes, fanatics do marchblock. Marchblock happens if any enemy unit is within 12" (no rulebook on hand at the moment). That to me is half the fun of the little buggers. I try to run my NG right at the enemy in hopes of getting the fanatics out and causing trouble. The other beautiful thing is that they don't have to go right at the unit that triggers them. So a very valid option is to send a single fanatic off in a random direction to mess up the charges of other units on either side of the parent unit. I tend to lean towards 2 right at the trigger unit and 1 off to cause headaches somewhere else, hehehe.

Like WarbossKapraun & Silver said. Yes.
I think fanatics are the best march-blockers an OnG player can have! This post has been edited by slannfrog on Nov 4 2009, 10:44 PM |

Absolutely. I find my fanatics are more useful at blocking marches and denying charge avenues than actually killing things. Mostly
