How Do I Character Hunt?

Two of my most common opponents run undead armies, one TK and the other VC. I have problems killing their heirophants, especially the VC one (he takes like a vampire lord and completely decks him out, im talkin frenzy, hatred, 2 or 3 chances to get off dance macabre in close combat to guarantee striking first on top of a close at hand corpse cart). How do i deal with him?

Well it depends, more information on how the TK: Heirophant and Vampire lord are equipped and deployed would help but in general the TK heirophant is relatively weak in combat (since he is a mage) so the hardest part of killing him is getting to him since most TK players give him cloak of the dunes allowing him to fly away. Generally a character on a wolf, boar or a wyvern can eventually corner him and catch him. Also units of wolf rider are good to character hunt against lone characters since they will outnumber and they are fast enough to catch them.

As for the vampire you will probably need a black orc warboss on a boar or wyvern to kill him. Try and use his frenzy against him and lure him with a baiting unit (such as wolf riders) he will be forced to charge and you can flee. This the can set up a flank charge on the unit (if he is in one) by your block units to tie up the unit which will hopefully allow the time for your character to get into the combat.

I like killing VC characters by crumbling them, if they got hared/frenzy use a bait unit to either force them to charge or overrun, and hit them hard in the flank. A flank charge by a unit of Savage orc boar boyz can really make a unit crumble around a a character.
