Over the years I used to use the GW black spray on most things, though I found the white one better for brighter models like Bretonnians.
More recently i've been using the army painter black spray, its has much more in the can that the gw version, an is cheaper. I've been using the army painter greenskin undercoat on my current forest goblins, an i've been very pleased with the results. |

Mainly been using white plasti-kote spray paint from my local B&Q, used to use Halford's white paint many many years ago (In fact the main reason why I don't use it now is because I thought they no-longer supplied it) also used to the odd white spray from good old Poundland as well but at the mo it's Plasti-kote all the way for me

I have also recently started using the coloured army painter primers, in particular fur brown.
In the past I always found a black undercoat too dark in that it would take lots of layers to achieve bright colours, and a white undercoat too light in that it seemed to make my mistakes more visible, so for me army painter fur brown is the happy middle ground - dark enough to make painting easier but light enough to get bright colours without hundreds of layers. In terms of price though I think its about the same as GWs stuff, much wider range of colours though. Its worth noting however that I found sometimes if you apply it too thickly it can 'peel' off the minature, only had this happen a couple of times though so I put it down to not shaking the can enough, thus only getting the colour and not the primer (Or something like that) Hope that helps , GG |

I've been using Rustoleum's Painter's Touch white spray.
I can't say that I'd recommend it, but it's doing ok for me so far. |
