Hi,
Skar - I wouldn't mind seeing your rock if you have time to put up a pic. Trollhoer - Yep. it'll be a challenge. But I am finding challenging myself is taking my painting ahead in leaps and bound. The skin and colour choice for robes has me stumped at the moment. I want the robes to really set up a good complementary contrast with the glow. I also want to blend them into a darker colour at the bottom and add some glyphs. Not to mention my purple and yellow army colours. I am thinking the spell is just starting so wont be all that bright. Probably only just glowing on his face and maybe a little on the hand on the staff. I think if I make him a shade darker than usual and then blend the glow up to scorpion green or scrop and white/bleached bone at its brightest that the green on green should work. cheers |

Well, I've just read this blog from start to finish. Even though your painting is nearly as slow as mine (
) it's amazing to see the improvements you've made in such a short space of time. Your latest models are absolutely fantastic, and you've come on in leaps and bounds from the models you started the blog with.Looking forward to your next update Xam |
