still need to finish bases with some more water effects/dead grass and black sides
   clearly the little dog needs some more training to become a vicious mutated monstrocity    |

Very good painting, very gloomy. The bluish scales on the hounds really make them pop, I'm sure the herd will look equally good when it's been based. Speaking of, those are some weird and wonderful bases you've got! How did you come up with them? They look like nothing I've ever seen, sort of like... mutating mud? Definately a suitable foundation for an army of beasts. Thanks for sharing, I'll be following this blog for sure. Be proud of these guys!

Nice job, I attempted a beastman army many years ago and they are suprisingly difficult to paint, are you dipping them? Where did you get the cute little doggy from? one would go down a treat as a mascot for my warboss.

no dipping but some washes are applied to tie stuff together. the little horns still need remove the dry stains on the little fella's horns with a highlight
(I hate working with sticky dipping...despite its cool effects + I rather exaggerate with highlights/shadows ) the dog it seems is a dark elf marauder hound... or from the wood elf beastmaster... This post has been edited by Grupas on Oct 22 2009, 02:48 PM |
