Hello everyone, here's a scan of the new German/Polish(?) WD that I found on Warseer (but it's from DakkaDakka). It appears to be a new plastic scenery kit.

A bit of a shame that it's so similar to Witchfate Tor, Dreadstone Blight and Skullvane Manse. Is the Empire made out of the one same tower with various bitz stuck onto it?! It looks OK though, can probably snatch some bitz from it. smile.gif

It was rumoured to be a new Fortress kit...dissappointing...

But look at the front door...KISLEVITE! ohmy.gif biggrin.gif

Oh goody, more skull-festooned architecture....

And what the h*** is up with the bronze skeleton weilding a Bad Moon on a Stick?

Its more of a lesson in how they can obtain xxx amount of scenery pieces with a slightly adapted mold. Personaly I dont see the point in it. I would also like to see more and novel scenery from GW. I'd like more generic buildings, a Dwarf brew house, maybe a big daemonic tree and some other stuff to cover harder to make items in the scenery table.

Sorry to spoil you party but is that kislevite not just a basic empire engineer (this one: http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/...odId=prod20034)

and to be honest not too impressed with the tower (same dung, different box)

I'm positive to the new terrain pieces in general but I thought those same skulls were a bit big on the Skullvane Manse and this tower is a third of its size with the same size of skulls. So this is not something I'd buy. If I wanted a small tower I'd get the very nice Watchtower. If I wanted a big piece I'd get Witchfate Tor or Skullvane Manse.

I was going to make that from leftover Skullvane Manse anyway. sad.gif
It wouldn't be so bad if they had released it at the same time as the Skullvane...
I suppose its possible they will do a castle as well but if this is what someone thought was a castle they are going to be embarrassed!

I like most of their scenery, but this tower looks pretty boring. There's nothing about it that grabs my attention and makes me want one. The Garden of Morr is my favorite. I've resisted the urge to order one, but if my LGS had one in stock, it would be mine.

I mean, it would look good without the skulls, but if I get 2 Skullvane Manse I can probably get about 3 awesome pieces, including one of these wich looks better.

Whoever made the decision to add those huge-ass skulls to the walls should be fired. He or she is completely Zoggin' up GW's artistic direction when it comes to terrain. Skullvane Manse sells and looks cool DESPITE those horrendous skulls, this does not. Uninspired, pretty ugly and ridicoulous-looking. I'm sure I could make it look good, but why would I want to...? huh.gif

not enough skulls tbh,

and the thign on top looks like its used to land planes, just replace the things with ping pong rackets and build yourself one steam plane.

but all in all i will be giving this one a miss, like most said its great they are makin gscenery - but itd be great if we could have some non empire pieces.

id even be happy for ELVES to get somthing at this point.

Or they could make a forest wich isn't 3 fat trees on a 20x10cm base. Or a Swamp. Or farmer's huts. Or townhouses. Or anything wich isn't another frickin' tower, I can't take it anymore! tongue.gif It's just dumb. 4 towers was enough. Normal buildings naaaaaaoow!!
