I saw the FW Squigoth on a local forum. I thought it looked good, so now will have to save up and get one. Uses in my army, well who knows.

At first I was really excited, but after looking at him, I was hoping he would be a little less... giant. laugh.gif Still awesome, nonetheless!

At some point I shall have one of course. I wonder if it has the same conditions in Monstrous Arcanum as it has in the special scenario in Tamurkhan (1 for free per 1000 points in army if you have a NG general) or if it has a normal points value now. Does anyone know?

Really. You guys like it?? blink.gif

I hate it... We get a new huge monster... and it's a Megasquig?? What's cool about that. We already have different squig sizes, why on earth would they be able to grow this big?? I don't wan't a squiggoth, but this is even less inspirational than the rock idol.

Also, I think the model is close to worse than the rock idol... The pose is strange... and why 6 eyes and elf ears??? Really. A squig is the most simple creation in the whole warhammer universe (it's a head with legs guys). It doesn't really make that impressive a model when being scaled up like that.

I would have loved a real behemoth of sorts... But a Megasquig.. no thank you! Censored.gif

It's not as squiggly as I would have liked, I'll reserve my judgement until I see proper WF pics on their site. smile.gif

With conversion rates, Forge World is way beyond my budget for purchases. So, I won't be getting it. sad.gif

Personally, I like the idea of the squigoth of 40k. I like an armored one that is like a war elephant. One with a rock lobba or spear chukka would be cool! I would rather have one of those, to be honest, but I'm not going to complain about ANY attention that OnG get. I don't think the rock monster has good rules, but I'm happy to have SOMETHING.

Oh, I did see a picture on Twitter that was from some Spanish forum? It was a picture of the next Warhammer Forge campaign book. It's called Battle of Blackfire Pass and has an Orc shaman on the cover. It's suppose to be about a campaign that pits Greenskins vs. Empire and Dwarfs. It's the next campaign, but it's not part of the 4 Chaos Gods series. Should be excellent.

Oh, I did buy the Forgeworld books. Yes, incredibly expensive, but worth it. That book is beautiful....

Cool! I like it!

There are rules for it in Monstrous Arcanum, which comes out this month. It also looks to be on an Araknarok base, so in tournaments or whatever you could use it as an Araknarok...

I def will be ordering one!
