Hi guys
I had these lying around for some time now. Iím so glad that they are finished. They could be better painted, but they are so many. It takes so much time just finishing the basic stuff.
The highlights on the robes are a bit dull. I noticed that after I painted 50 or so of them. I can live with it though.
I will paint another unit of them with hand weapons and shields, when I get the time.
Thanks for watching and please tell me what you guys think.

Looking great. I think you are being a bit over picky about the highlights, they look fine. You can't paint them all up like characters when there are so many.
Love the bases too. I don't generally like black edges but they fit the models really well.

Is the guy at the front holding a squig a conversion or can I buy it? Really like that model!

Looks good buddy!

I especially like the basing. A little out of the box there and a great contrast to the goblins with the bright tufts on the sand. Love it!

Keep up the good work! wink.gif

Awesome work on your Night Goblins!
I really like the rusty effect on the weapons and chains, it looks really realistic.
I like the subtle highlights on your robes too, too much and they'd lose their 'blackness'.
Painting so many Night Goblins can be a real grind, especially to such a high standard as your models. Much Kudos for maintaining such quality on all your models.

Can't wait to see more of your army, nice work smile.gif

@theorox

Thanks man ! I used rust pigments. I made a wash by mixing rust pigmenst, water, and matt varnish. After I painted the metal parts (chainmail + babab black + devlan mud) I slapped that wash on and then rehighlighted with chainmal. I hope that helps.

@Rageaholic

Thank you very much. The model was in the old starter box, Edition seven me thinks.

@Gnarkill

Nice to hear smile.gif Thanks mate !

@Sokk_Likk

Thanks very much man !

Great stuff so far, 2 really solid units and well painted too. I really like the red & black colour scheme and especially the purple squigs, THE best colour for squigs IMHO ;-)

Keep it up!

Missed your unit before but it is awesome. I think "less is more" applies to NG robes if you really want them black; saving the highlights for the sharper folds of the robes and the spot colours if often the way to go.

I'm looking forward to some nice big purple Manglers in the near future.
