I've been trying to work out how to do my mangler squig as I really dislike the GW one as it seems far too large, but all the other conversions I've seen haven't really hit the mark either. This is by far the best and to me looks exactly the size I would expect of a giant squig and plenty ferocious enough to do the damage they are capable of. Expect to see something similar to this pop up in my blog at some point in the future!!!

Out of interest did you experiment with any other heads or were you always set on the zombie dragon?

Yesssss! My nefarious influence is spreading *insert evil cackle*

Ahem.

I considered using Stegadon heads, as I'd seen some cool conversions made with those (they were actually very popular around here before the official models were released). The sabretusk head from the TK Warsphinx is also a good option.

This thread by Giblit has examples of both variants, as well as the Terrorgheist head.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Cheers!

Well, looks like Profi will be leaching anything that comes out of your brain biggrin.gif

But thanks for the info on the manglers.
I was wondering that myself.

They look great!

Gobo on shellob looks good as well!

I have now painted 2,000 points of goblinly goodness! Hurrah! Lots of pics ahead.

First up is my Wyvern-riding Warboss duo

And if, Gork n' Mork forbid, either the bosses or the Wyvern is slain, der's options!

If that wasn't exciting enough, the spider-riding boss is finished too!

Finally, the objective marker for a small tournament over the summer. Seems like something goblins would enjoy.

Probably going to be slowing down on the gobs for a bit to work on my Chaos Dwarves, but I need to start work on a display board for the greenies soon. So more madness is certainly in store.

Cheers!
