Foreward, I've been reading every article around here, about creating an army, the different types of units, ect, and this is what I have come up with. Still trying to wrap my head around how to scale this army down for smaller games, but thats part of gaming isn't it? 'Ere goes.

Thoughts? Am I doing this wrong, ie not utilizing the collective wisdom of those posting in the tactics area? I know it isn't perfect, was just trying to follow the advice of the greater orc and gobbos generals here. Please tell me what I could tweak.

Also on the Big Stabba and Banner of Eternal Flame, I do have people here who like to use monsters, especially one annoying Skaven Player who likes to always run atleast 2 HPAs so this is almost necessary to bring things that can counter those, as they have been the bane of my Empire's existance.

You guys really play 3750 point games?! Wow! lol! Well, I really dont have anything to add as your bringing everything but the kitchen sink. (No wait... there it is!) I think the Armor of Gork on a savage orc War Boss is pretty clever actually.

My only concern is if an etheral unit EVER gets into contact with you your screwed. With not one magic weapon in the whole army a VC army general will drool on himself. A unit of Hexwraiths... or god forbid 2... would walk thru your army. :( I mean yea, the Fencer blades do technically count.... but if that one NON-combat character goes down its all over.

I dunno, maybe a cheap magic weapon on your goblin characters or, at the very least, the ruby ring of ruin?

I mean if thats not something you have to worry about then awesome. But really, thats the only weakness I see in your Massive army!

Would love to see these battles!

You have a point there. For some reason I thought that flaming attacks were magical, but alas they aren't (silly I say) and thanks for noticing the normal gobbos were too small,will have to fix that. What would you adjust the bring more magic weapons in?

And yeah we usually have some epic battles. I kinda dove head first into this one. Want to find a way to scale this list down as well for smaller games, but my list-fu is not that strong.

Oh and yeah, thought the armour of gork would be fun on the savage warboss. Bonus to T and impact hits at S6? Yes please :)

Nice list, LOVE the 34pts Ngoblin heroes. A few notes I will present. I wonder why you have a lvl 1 goblin shaman? why not night goblin? (obviously i mean the one on foot) Hes cheaper and gets the shrooms. Also as pointed to you above which i see you noticed goblin unit size is 20+. If you dont know what armies you are facing then maybe get a magic weapon here and there or if you know that there will be a VC as an opponent. Also you seem to have miscounted the points of the boars (16+2+2=20x5=100). I suggest you try to pump up the Borc and Sorc units to higher numbers. I wont suggest anything on where to get the points but if you find more points more sorcs and borcs would be my 1st choice. Ive never playd a list as big as 3750pts myself which i will someday soon as i already could field almost 5k without wasting points, not all painted yet though, soon maybe :P. I myself play 2vs2 teamgames at 3000+3000 vs 3000+3000. Last note on the list, your nightgoblin units cost almost the same as your "hardhitters" which i think is silly because they are far more unlikely to kill people than borcs or sorcs. Overall like the list alot good job.

Fun list, looks like you have almost everything apart from Snotlings!

About the only thing I'd change would be combine the Goblin archers into one unit (since they have to be 20+). Oh yeah and a few cheap magic weapons to deal with ethereals. Maybe a Night Goblin Shaman instead of the Goblin Shaman?

I'm interested to see how the Shamans perform with the Wolfriders though, I've been thinking of adding one to my second Wolfrider unit.

Make sure you post some battle reports or pics on here too, I'm sure I'm not the only one who will be interested :)

The only mistake I see is, you have a BO BSB in your unit of BOs. You're wasting most of that BSB. You would be best off switching him with your warboss.
