Just wanted to double check on this, Goblin Wolf riders can be equipped with a shield, short bows and spears all at once? Or they have to choose between the spears and short bows?
If they can equip both, it's safe to say you could model them showing they have both or just showing they have one but explain they have both during games?

I'm not sure about the first part but....
I have a unit of 10 with spears and shields, I haven't added the bows or quivers on their back. If I do have spare points to give them bows too (if it's allowed of course to have all three) I'm just going to use a marker made from a round 40K base with a spare bow and quiver painted and glued onto it. That way my Wolf Riders won't always be stuck with bows, and it's clear if I decide to equip them or not.
I've left a small space at the back of my movement trays for counters for magic weapons, number of fanatics, magic items, potions etc. I'm making a couple counters at the moment for Madcap Mushrooms, so I don't forget which Fanatic has munched on them before he whizzes off across the table. With such a potenitally large army I imagine I'm going to forget about such things during battles.
I guess it depends on how strict your opponents are about what-you-see-is-what-you-get. Most have no problems as long as they know before the battle starts and there are no seemingly 'cheaty' surprises... 'oh yeah...um..my goblins have bows too!'
They can have all of it. Wolf riders rock!
