My orcs and gobos army is based around an Albion look, and at the moment all I have is goblins and I'm starting to finish up my painting of all of them. Now in the last few battles I've played with them I've won but it was very very close games and with the help of some tougher blokes in my force I could have made them solid victories. So I've decided I'll start getting some orcs in my army and I want to keep the Albion/Britannian look going.

My conclusion is give the orcs kilts and woad paint and make them look liek raging Scotsmen! If I'm going to do this the kilts will have to be greenstuffed on to the models but I need aid and advice from some of you more experienced green stuff users on weather it would be easier to get the stuff on normal orcs or savage orc models. ( I will be playing them as savage orcs either way but the loom of the model mean alot to me)

I'm doing a similar thing with my Dwarf army.

Are you looking to give them kilts (just the skirt-like bit) or great kilts (the full 'Braveheart' look)? If the latter, then Savage Orcs are the way to go, as you want as little clothing as possible on the model you're using.

+1 on the savages as they are probably going to be easyer to model the Kilts on and they look much more "Savage" then reguler Orc Boyz

But some of THE regular orcs already have skirts.

And there is a54mm ww2 kit (from tamiya i think) which has scottish Style Barets
