Ok so first things first, a little blah blah before we begin.
I'm only looking to include what I have painted into the list (no warmachines basically at this stage). I want to construct a 'tough' list that can be used against new players and seasoned opponents for quick pick up games down my local Games Workshop
Here is what I am thinking.
Orc Shaman - 130 pts
Level 2, Talisman of Endurance
Orc BSB - 119 pts
Great Weapon, Armour of Fortune
15 Orc Big'Uns - 165 pts
Extra Hand Weapons, Mus, Std, Banner of Eternal Flame
24 Orc Boyz - 212 pts
Spear, Shield, Mus, Std
5 Goblin Wolf Riders - 60 pts
Spears, Shields
5 Goblin Wolf Riders - 60 pts
Spears, Shields
4 Trolls - 140 pts
Squig Herd - 110 pts
10 Squigs, 10 Night Goblins
Total 996 Points
So I feel like I have two Anvil's of sorts with the Spear Boyz and the Trolls (2x2) and two hammers in the form of the Big Uns and Squigs with the Wolf Riders being complete nuisance and getting flank/rear charges in if possible.
I feel that I can compete in all phases (with the exception of shooting) and give an entertaining game to a new starter or put up a fight against a veteran.
