Title: Arachnarok And Forest Goblins Shooting Attacks
Warbringa - June 4, 2012 05:26 AM (GMT)
Can the Forest goblins only shoot enemy units in the forward arc of the models base? Or they can shoot any enemy unit in range on any side of the model?

Forward arc only, only fast cav can shoot to the sides and rear (not even skirmishers can thesedays). Also if you have a flinger you have to fire both the flinger and all the short bow shots at the same target - it cant split fire.

I have an addition to this:
Since the flinger is fired like a rock lobber, does the target have to lie within the forward arc?

I guess so!

I suppose it could aim indirectly towards things that it can't see just fine though?

I dont think even fast cav has 360 fire.

I guess the objective must be in the arc of sight of the arachnarok.
