Back when 8th ed was coming out, I decided to start a new army. Beastmen, in fact. I've assembled most of the army and so far only partially painted one model.

I then got distracted by redoing my Vampire Counts army, and then their new book came out, and that was that! and for 40k I'm contemplating my DeathGuard or my Blood Angels. I'm thinking of returning to my Beasties and was wondering what other armies everyone else is working on???

At the moment my O&G are taking the majority of my attention, however I do have a sizable Tomb Kings army that I work on every now and again as well as starting a Black Templar Crusade in 40k. Also repainting my Malifaux Rasputina Crew and House Escher and Redemptionist Gangs for Necromunda. I have to stop myself from being a Ork Player in 40k at the moment, I really like speed freaks.

Also I seem to have enough trolls now with my latest purchase (edit 24) so looking into making a Throgg list from WoC

At the moment I'm just filing and gluing all my O&Gs (I have neglected them for too long while I worked on my Dwarf army), but the only other Warhammer related project I have going is my new campaign. I've made a huge set of rules for an in-depth campaign based on the Mighty Empire tile set, which I plan to use with another player and hopefully, post the results on here. It's literally been several months in the making. At about 10 pages of loose rules so far... : /

Likewise my Orcs and Goblins are taking up nearly all my painting time.

I've been chipping away at my Dark Angels for 40K, nearly 1500 points painted up and ready for battle. I've ground to halt trying to find more KV-1's to convert for my predators. I say 'convert' but I really just swapped the turret gun and added some vehicle bits. Looks cool though. I had been working on a few assault squads too, but I'm short of a few vital jump packs :(

There's some LOTR minis too, Minis Tirith and some Hobbits.

Sometimes to break the 'work' of army building I paint some minis for D&D, Elves, Gnolls, Demons, spiders, and other random encounter monsters.

My nephew has been wanting to get into gaming, and no doubt he'll ask me to paint his models for him. He hasn't made up his mind between Chaos and Wood Elves.I just hope he won't mind waiting a month or six...

Well I am currently painting the last 3 models of my OnG collection (unless that is I one day decide to do anything with my pile of mono-pose plastic goblins).

My next planned project is dwarfs. :)

I´m working or better have the plan to do so on my TK army.
Besides that I have a crapton of 40k IG stuff, space orks and some fantasy deamons I need to finish. But what I really doing besides painting my O&G stuff is the commission works - Warriors of Chaos and Ultramarines at the moment.

Soon I will start working on my blood bowl team( a goblin team :D). The only good race are da green'uns the other races are weak :fish:

I finished (mostly) my Ogres earlier this year and then turned my attention to Lizards. I've set my goal at 2500 points by July 15th, after that I will probably turn back to O&G again, with the occasional extra coldblood thrown in here and there.

Of course, it's entirely possible that 6th ed. 40k will prompt another change of plans. The new Bomma is crazy sweet for one thing.

I have 2000 empire army, but at the moment im painting arachnarok and mob of orc boyz with shields :)

80% of my limited (and not very efficiently used) time goes to O&G.

the rest goes to lizardmen, pointy ears, napoleonic russians (15mm) and mithridatic (15 mm).

Like most OnG has most of my attention.

Besides that I've been building a small dwarf force that I update occasionally. And I've started collecting space marines. Well the AoBR ones for now but I will add more when they are painted (until then I'll borrow some models from a friend when I want to play).

I also have an ongoing project of collecting an Empire army.
But this mostly consists of me getting the models cheap when they are up for sale or trade and I haven't painted much more than the odd unit.

So yeah, loads of fun stuff and that's not even counting the bits of terrain I infrequently paint. Although I try to hold of on that because if I let it terrain building will consume 99,99% of my hobby time :D

i have my 10 - 15 year old small empire amry in a box shatter to bits which needs glueing and most deffiantly repainting but im yet to do any.

and i have some old and new imperial guard stuff to do but also yet to do any.
ive painted 1 elf mage for a friends and am in the middle of a skaven warlock for another friend.

other than that since ive started playing again its just been O&G and scenery + a few mordheim (mainly orc and gobbo) people.


but orcs and gobs are my passion!
i just feel rank upon rank of angry greenskins can not be topped!

I'm still working on my Chaos Aligned Escher gang. In the middle of converting two Juves at the moment, and still have a bunch of details to add to the rest of the gang (pouches, grenades etc).

Bah, I try to only work on one army at a time, else nothing ever gets done.

However, I am slowly but surely trading away and ebaying my old bretonnians, to clear space in my cupboard for my burgeoning forest goblin tribe...

Basically taking a year off from my orcs and goblins for my Tk army. Red black brass and bone makes for a refreshing palette change from my orcs.

I plan to do one or two orcs this year, just to keep the blog from falling off the boards, but I dont expect much progress on them this year.

Honestly, Skaven are my main focus, but I do love Orcs and Goblins. I also dabble in a little bit of 40K Orks and Space Marines (Imperial Fists), but I actually mainly do single models or a regiment or squad/mob, as I'm primarily a modeller/painter, and less of a gamer.

Aside from converting the new boars to the old chariots and base coating an Araknarok, I have been painting and building my son's Deamon army.
When not working on them I do a little bit more on my very old Genestealer Cult Army. To date most of the hybrids are done, the Primarch is done, scratch built a limo and base coated RT era Imp Guard troops to add as brood brothers.
Hopefully GW will bring them back to 40K

I've got a few more units to add to my Daemon army, but right now my time is mostly a 3-2 split between Ogres and Gobbos. After that, who knows, but if that AoW project succeeds than some stunties may lie in my future.

Just now trying to get as much WoC finished as I can before the new book hits, you can see my progress in the link in my sig :). Aside from them I'll soon be building and doing some O&G and have started getting the odd dwarven thing here and there. 3 lots of them from BFSP so far, decided two of the battalions should do it too as a solid start in the future, but those 2 battalions can wait till I have the money truely spare...

I succumbed to the sheer Pretty of the Dark Eldar when they got their new miniatures, and only recently started working on them. I'm 8 Kabalites and 6 Wyches in, with a Haemonculus and Raider nearly there. Lots built. They are a lot of fun to paint. :)

A test Necron warrior too, because my wife showed a modicum of interest in the spaaaace Tomb Kings, and so I've gone insane with hope and want to paint her an entire army. Oh don't look at me like that, you've done it too. :)

I'm painting a lot of stuff, but most of it is O&G: savages, squigs, hoppers, handlers, river trolls, the giant I haven't finished for four years, etc. So much to do.

switching between OnG and flames of war wich i try to split an even 1/2 so i dont get bored by either.

Currently planning out my 1500 points of Orks whilst painting up my orcs and goblins, at the moment Im actually stuck of which Clan to base them off. :lol:

At the moment it's between Death Skulls, Evil Sins, Snake Bites or Freebooters, with the new flyers coming out Im starting to go away from the Snakebite idea.

Painting Deamons

Wood Elves, which is my first army (though secondary in use), and Skaven which I have started out with quite recently. My goal this year is to complete 1000 points of Skaven (mostly core and the main characters) and my New Year's resolutions on this forum.

Gondor/Minas Tirith army is in the works at the moment, and is going pretty good with a quicker way of painting them that I figured out. Pretty basic, and not as good as my usual armies, but still decent army quality. I'm only painting them in my work lunchbreak.

Also working on a few competition pieces and then Golden Demon entries! At the moment I have a MicroArts Cohen the Barbarian that Borzag is letting me enter in a comp if I finish in time (It's being painted for him), and a Malifaux Seamus box set for the same comp. Then Celeborn for LOTR and a few other undecided models.

Way too much with hardly any time on my hands.

Apart from a few O&G paint ups (just done 3 newer fanatics), I'm currently building up the rest of my plastic Macedonians and Persians for paintwork by July. Awaiting some Hexwraiths from GW, just finished a female Vamp lord and just painting a couple of filler ghouls to boost up my horde. Still have 5 more Blood Knights to complete. I also have sprues of Empire swordsmen, crossbowmen and Flagellants to do. Then there is probably in the region of 15 boxes worth of Perrys and Warlords Prussians, 12 Boxes worth of Victrix and Perrys French Naps and I have a 1000pts Naval French force for Dystopian wars to paint.

Just work gets in the way too much but on holiday for a week now and didn't take much work home with me so I think I may get a bit done this week - unless the Mrs shouts me for another lawn check! :rolleyes:

I really have only been working on my Space Orks which is rather sizeable and the Orcs and goblins which I have only recently started.
