Since the Orctober Resolutions thread was quite successful (and fun!) and I've been mulling-over what I'll do with my free time over the Christmas break I thought I'd kick-off a topic:

What will you be doing with your Hobby Time over the dark, but (hopefully!) relaxed, days between Orcmas and New Year?

I'm going to try to:

• Get at least one big game at either the Hogbunker or The Mill (either Storm of Magic or a big old Siege!)
• Build and paint my Sea Cockatrice
• Build and paint some piratey scenery - Skullvane Manse if I can get it!
• Build and paint at least one Unit Filler for the comp!

ps: and i am going to Kalkriese for a few days to see if i can find some lost Roman legions (3 to be precise) ;)

In laws are buying me a mangler squig... should keep me entertained in the evenings. 3 children will definately keep the day time busy!

Ill be doing typical young-un stuff over the break, a very special lady is down from the other end of the country so Ill be spending time catching up with her, got a few music festivals Im hitting up and genuinely just having a great time. Model wise Im hoping to get some of my Ulric army done, and also finish off some Chaos Dwarf commission work Im doing, but I'll have other priorities over the summer :P

Hmm, not sure about hobby time, the period between Orcmas and New Year seems to be increasingly hectic these days. I'll be lucky to find any time to get much done so I'm going to go out on a liimb and aim for:

• Paint 2 (yes a whole 2) Night Goblin Archers.

I except it's a pretty ambitious goal, but if you don't aim for the stars....

Ok, I will try for a rather ambitious goal given my painting speed and previous experience with goals....

Paint: 4 snotling bases
2 wolf riders
One old edition skarsnik
one goblin big boss
one forest goblin shaman
3 pieces of difficult terrain
convert and paint one mounted goblin shaman

@Arfa - I guess I shouldn't have said "dark days" - I forgot it isn't winter everywhere!! :lol:

Oh! Yes, I have that to do as well! ^_^ I'll add it to my list!

If I can finish my 2011 resolution I'll be happy with that. I should be able to include a couple of entries for the filler competition as well. I have 82 models to go though so it won't be easy.

Gonna try to finish paint 40 black orcs and take a photo of my unit filler :)

yeah, have been working outside in a t-shirt this week, so it isn't even winter where it is supposed to be winter. :)

But certainly not complaining about it!!!!

I'd love to start and finish a unit of 9 common trolls.
