A thought occured as I tried to penetrate the hazy mire that is Seahammer, prior to introducing my group to it. It seems like each group or area has their own distinct ruleset for Naval Warhammer, and it might be nice to create a composite set containing all the best bits, maybe even Da Warpath's version. Alternatively, at the very least, we can collect all of them in once place. Kind of a repository for Fleet lists, rules, etc... Even if it's just a stickeyed thread with links. Hand in hand with this of course is 8th edition, meaning tweaks and adjustments will need to be made. Could be a good chance for some spring cleaning. What do you think? Good idea? Bad idea?
Nice idea mate! :yarr!:
This is the Seahammer "army book" we made for use with the General's Compedium:
http://www.flameon.co.uk/sartosa4/Yarrpocalypse.pdfIt needs some work to bring it up to speed with 8th edition Warhammer!
I played my first Mordheim games with 3rd Edition Warhammer Ahoy! tonight. Very enjoyable. Ship sizes are now more uniform between Ahoy! and General's Compendium although I think speeds have slowed down some.
Ahoy! has streamlined some things and tweaked others. Critical hits have changed for the better--more I think the way Groz and his friends played.
Fires on ship are still the best.

On topic--good idea!
I dont know any one around my way (Coventry, UK) who plays bvut would certainly like to convert up some ships and start playing.
