I never use my phone to look at this web site, though I have an android rather than an iphone. But this could be an interesting idea.

Only question is, what exactly does this do differently for the website via the phone?

I think the best way to see what it does is to install the application and check out some of the other forums that use it.

I've used it for the warseer forums (but they are down right now), and found it much easier to read/add posts.

Right, so it's not a question of accessibility, rather one of user-friendliness instead :)

Having attempted to post a message to Da Warpath from my phone, I can certainly see the benefit of Tapatalk in that regard. I'll head over to Tapatalk and find out what the process is for getting us listed is then :)

EDIT: Okay, I'm in the process of setting this up at the moment - I'll make an announcement in the News when it's all set. Just need to make a note here so we don't forget to implement this when we set up the new forums ^_^)
