Awwww :(

I hate it when they restrict viewing rights like this. :badgobbo:

raivenblade - April 1, 2011 08:12 AM (GMT)
you should be able to see this I think http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vIsQ25Krq8...player_embedded

Turelio - April 1, 2011 08:39 AM (GMT)
The new series looks excellent. Truely. I cannot wait. I was bouncing up and down telling people about this at work today. So many things from that trailer I want answered now.

Hurry, Doctor, hurry...

Cheers - that one works :D

Cant wait for the new series. Shame it'll be almost half a year after it airs in the UK before we get it here in NZ :(

raivenblade - April 1, 2011 09:37 AM (GMT)
usually, you can start downloading HD versions of an episode the night it has aired, although that would make you a naughty boy

raivenblade - April 3, 2011 05:37 PM (GMT)
found this, made me laugh

Goofycabal - April 4, 2011 09:27 AM (GMT)
That pic is awesome indeed! :o

raivenblade - April 21, 2011 06:21 AM (GMT)
just a reminder, the new season begins airing easter weekend on saturday 23th, 6pm on BBC1, don't miss the start!

Snotgrub - April 21, 2011 10:11 AM (GMT)
I can't wait!

Real shame that Sarah Jane, won't be in any series ever again...

raivenblade - April 27, 2011 07:21 PM (GMT)
spoilers below

since the extra scenes in the end show a child in the space suite, and one might assume that it is this child that kills the doctor at the beginning of the episode, would it be fair to assume that the child is a Young River Song? and the man she killed and is in jail for, is actually the Doctor?

WarbossKurgan - April 28, 2011 08:35 AM (GMT)
Nice idea raivenblade I hadn't thought of that. But...
Spoiler: Why was River surprised he was shot. She would have remembered that! :P

raivenblade - April 30, 2011 08:21 PM (GMT)
Aaarg, that second episode only offered new questions, and no answers! I can't wait till next week :-)

WarbossKurgan - May 7, 2011 06:54 PM (GMT)
Just watched "The Curse of the Black Spot" which I was really looking forward to (Pirates! :yarr!: ) but it was a bit disappointing... dull even.
:(

I looked good but the story was not terribly well written.

raivenblade - May 7, 2011 06:57 PM (GMT)
Yeah, the story was a bit predictable. Loved the idea at the end of the pirates in space though

Puggimer - May 7, 2011 11:46 PM (GMT)
Unfortunately those of us on the left side of the pond still have about and hour and 15 minutes before it premiers here - but at least it is only 5 hours and not 3 weeks like last year!

No kidding. Probably cuts down a bit on the downloading.

New season is starting Next Week for us here in New Zealand :D

Which is a lot sooner than last time too. Can't wait!

WarbossKurgan - May 14, 2011 06:46 PM (GMT)
"The Doctor's Wife" written by Neil Gaiman.

Now THAT was a great episode! :D

Craze_b0i - May 15, 2011 12:44 AM (GMT)
I haven't really got back into Dr Who since David Tennant left. I tried watching a few Matt Smith episodes but doesn't feel the same, I'm just not as into the characters now. Tonights episode was ok though.

raivenblade - May 15, 2011 01:48 PM (GMT)
Good episode, but they need to stop fake-killing Rory. It's getting tedious

I blubbed like a girl at the end.

Neil Gaimen was always one of my favourite authors. Time to re-read the sandman...

So what is up with having a two parter - but making us wait two weeks for the 2nd half? What's up on the right side of the pond that they don't have a new episode this coming Saturday? (I hate waiting)

Beithir Seun - May 25, 2011 10:23 PM (GMT)
Must be something up with the left side of the pond, not the right. The right side does have a new episode this coming Saturday :D

raivenblade - May 26, 2011 07:31 AM (GMT)
another great picture

only one more episode to go before we have to wait till autumn for more doctor who :(

I wonder if the version of the doctor who dies at the beginning of the season will actually turn out to be a ganger...

Can't wait till the next epsiode, even though I know it will end on a cliffhanger, and I'll have to wait for months

Snikpik - May 30, 2011 06:47 AM (GMT)
Dr Who was never the same since Tom Baker was replaced by Peter Davison!

raivenblade - June 5, 2011 06:25 PM (GMT)
How amazing was that last episode! Never saw it coming!!

Puggimer - June 6, 2011 12:49 PM (GMT)
Looking forward to the mid-season finale next week in the US (yes, we are now a week behind the UK).

My boys and I had a thought - could the doctor who was killed have been a 'ganger?

I've considered that myself, but I dont know if
  • 1) the ganger would be able to start regenerating
  • 2) the ganger wouldn't have gone liquid when killed

raivenblade - July 26, 2011 01:57 PM (GMT)
there is a new trailer for the second half of this season

Not in the least, I thought them a marked improvement on the first set.

Beithir Seun - October 3, 2011 01:07 PM (GMT)
What Draig said. I really enjoyed the latter half of the season.

I'm still not sure I like the fact that they split it into two halves though. I can appreciate that it drags the time out longer, and means there's less time to wait until the Christmas special, but for me it just meant that both halves were over too quickly; I ended up feeling like they were two seperate mini-series than one series split in two, and I'm not sure I like it. I think I'd much rather have a big block of 12 episodes...
