Come on, is there any comment I can make here that won't cause people to laugh at me for this??? :D
Yeah, I bought the game when it came out in Oz on Thursday, and didn't start till Friday night. Has anyone else got it/played it? So far I think it's pretty good. Nice newish graphics, and a few nice new twists. Only one badge so far, so I can't judge completely yet though.

I don't have a DS so can't play the new games. Damn nintendo walking away from the awesome Advanced SP! Fire emblem in my heaaart! :lol: I was always a bit of a fan of the pokémon games. Kinda. I just can't be bothered to buy a new console when little plastic men is all I see! :yarr!:
I also really like how they finally ran out of gemstones. :P Couldn't they just have called it...uh...Jade and Crystal, or whatever? POKéMON OBSIDIAN! That'd rock. Opal? Topaz) (I'm on wikipedia, stealin' yer gemstones) Turqoise? Why black and white i ask?

Thye went colours, then metals, then gems, then more gems. I think the reason they went to black and white is that it is in some ways a reboot of the games, so they wanted a fresh slate. Plus, black and white aren't colours, so it is a new category altogether.

I used to play the Pokemon leaf green and fire red. I don't like any of the new Pokemon at all, they just look odd.
The old ones had much more charm :wub:

Agreed! Fire Red was the best one I've played. :) I alo had Sapphire, but...meh. There were some cool ones though, like..what'stheirnamesagain...pilus and minun? The positive/negative rabbits? I liked those when i was little. xD
That new firemonkey and penguin are cool an' all, but many of the others are...well...just weird!

Loved my good old red version and Gold Version but the newer pokemon are nowhere near as cool. And having to get a new console makes me less inclined to buy the new versions otherwise I probably would :D

I have White, and it's probably one of the better Pokemon games Ive played, my Boldore rocks (heh heh puns) Gold/Heart Gold used to be my favourite, but this is slowly taking over it.
