The hunter’s body landed on the wooden floor with a dull and sickening thud. Adam Klien, age 27, a hunter who lived in South Dakota struggled to save himself from Lucifer’s wrath. With a pained groan, he pushed himself off the floor. Coughing, his mouth spilled out more blood. “You evil son of a bitch…” He managed to say out loud as he moved into a keeling position. His eyes landed on his attacker.Lucifer laughed menacingly. “Why thank you.” He replied back with a smirk before he flicked his wrist that sent the hunter off the blood stained wooden floor and had him pinned up against the wall.
“You know, I don’t get why all you hunters have this seriously, seriously stubborn streak.” Lucifer started as he walked over slowly to where he had the hunter trapped and stuck. “All you had to do was say yes to me and you wouldn’t be in such a world of pain right now…”
Adam yelped in pain when he was forced off his feet and his back slammed into a nearby wall. He was forced to cough out more blood from his mouth. Clamping his eyes shut, he clenched his jaw and groaned once again as he rode out the pain that was coursing through his entire body.
“I’m not going to sell my soul to you, you bastard!”Lucifer tsked. “In other words, you’d rather die than live to serve me. How very noble of you.” He replied back sarcastically. “Oh well. I guess I have one more less hunter to think about…” Half smirking, he raised his hand and hovered it over the hunter’s throat. He was about to squeeze it without even touching it when Adam’s land phone rang. The devil, for some reason, paused and waited for the machine to pick it up. Yeah, you can call it instinct.
“Adam, it’s Bobby Singer. Pretty sure you’ve heard what happened. When you get this please call me. We need all the help we can get.”
Lucifer rose up an eyebrow. Did he say we? He smirked. Ahh. Sammy boy must have found his way back to his old friend. But he needed to be sure. Turning his attention back to the hunter, he knocked him unconscious before letting him go. He needed to be quick about this. Last thing he wanted was for his current vessel to escape. Quickly, he got out of Dean’s body and into Adam’s.
Before the hunter could get his wits gathered, Lucifer rendered Dean unconscious. Spitting out the blood off his mouth, he used the hunter’s sleeves to wipe off the excess and moved over to the table where the phone was. Bobby Singer. His eyes spotted the phone book and opened it up. When he finally found Bobby’s number, he picked up the phone and dialed it. He waited.
“Hey Bobby, it’s Adam, sorry I just got out of the shower. I’ve heard. What can I do?”
What the grizzly hunter didn’t know was the evil smirk that tainted Adam’s lips.
