Lately she had been on the road for the past couple of weeks, trying to find some way to get around place to place, doing each case by case without her mother actually confining in her about what had been going on these past months with the Winchester Boys, her mom Ellen who did not like the fact that her father was taken in what her husband use to do, as a hunter. She didn't like it but since when Jo was a child? she was an adult now, with much pride in taking in the job as a hunter, well correction. Being a hunter was not a job, it was a privilege. Joanna Beth decided though to take a break considering the fact that Bobby was close by which she was on the road, his place that he lived in. That lanky looking salvage place he resided in could be seen for miles ahead.
Joanna road in her father's old truck, soon driving up toward the yard. She slowed down, turning to the right until the car was safely next to another car which she didn't recognize. She didn't see Bobby's car but that didn't mean that he was not there. She turned the motor off, and soon moves off the the seat. Jo slid out the truck, taking her rifle with her in case she needed it, she moved the carry strap across her body so the rifle was behind her back, and then closing the door beside her.
She took a clear look around before officially heading over to the door, Joanna decided to just normally walk in, instead of knocking on the door. Bobby did have a tendency to keep the door open, he dared anybody to walk in. If any demon had the nerve to walk in, they would be good as dead, luckily Joanna was not a demon, she was nothing close or ever would be close to that. The blond looked around, taking a clear look to see if anything was normal.
It looked normal, dead..she hadn't heard a noise yet.
"Bobby? you home?" Joanna called out, walking in the living room.

It hadn't taken long for them to start getting things together that they needed to do. While Sam went out to search for information on Lucifer, Isabel stayed to help Bobby with research. Things hadn't been going as smoothly as they hoped, but they didn't let that get them down. They had to save Dean and everyone else, there was no if, ands or buts about it.
At that moment, however, Isabel was alone at the Salvage yard. A supply run was in order and Bobby decided he'd do it, something about being a guest or something. So while he was gone, she set to cleaning some of the weapons in the living room. The endless research had started to play with her eyes, she figured a break would help her focus better, as well as make sure she didn't over look anything.
Isabel had just finished putting her 1911 Colt Gold Cup Mirror back together when she heard the sound of a vehicle approach, one that didn't sound like Bobby's car and Sam wouldn't be back for another day or too. Quickly she loaded the gun and moved toward a window, her eyes on a young blond woman that climbed out the truck. She looked around Isabel's age, but she had no idea who that was, Bobby hadn't said anything about expecting company today.
Without hesitation, she grabbed the bottle of Holy Water that rested on the coffee table and made her way to the side of the hall where she wouldn't be seen. Quietly she waited, her ears alert for any sudden noises, but all she heard was the door being opened and foots steps as they came toward the living room.
"Bobby? you home?"
"Don't move," she said as she slowly stepped out, gun locked on the other woman. "Who are you and what are you doing here?"

It was all but quiet, a little too quiet to be observate, Joanna's brown eyes stared around the place, checking to see if there was anything out of the ordinary. Nothing was by the looks of it. The entire house was quiet, Jo suddenly stopped though. Raising an eyebrow straight up in utter confusion, maybe everything was okay with him and she was just being paranoid. She had a thing with being paranoid about certain things, but sometimes her being paranoid was a good thing, not a bad one. Jo though then went to turn around when she heard some footsteps come in her direction before she had a chance to do anything of the sorts. A young girl's voice came out from around the corner and into the same room she was resided in.
Boom, there she was..holding a gun aimed right in her direction.
Even though Joanna loved guns, one being pointed at her made her nervous but she never allowed the others person to know that she was nervous. That would only give them a death proof that she was scared.
"Don't move,"
"Whoa.." her hands went up not in surrender but in a reaction, to show she was not meaning any harm, the girl she did not recognize at all. She eyed up and down. She certainly wasn't Bobby either.
"Who are you and what are you doing here?"
The same ole' same question, really Jo she should of been asking her the same question, her eyes rolled though, unsure really to be serious or sarcastic with this chick. "First of all I should be asking you the same question, where is Bobby? he ought to be here. Not that it's any of your business but I'm Jo Harvelle, a friend of Bobby. He knows my mother Ellen Harvelle, who in the hell are you?" One thing she did not enjoy, telling the short beginning of her life which in fact this person was a complete stranger to her.

Isabel kept her eyes on the woman as her hands came up, showing that she didn't mean any harm, but Isabel knew better then to drop the hand. Instead, she kept her eyes trained on her.
"First of all I should be asking you the same question, where is Bobby? he ought to be here. Not that it's any of your business but I'm Jo Harvelle, a friend of Bobby. He knows my mother Ellen Harvelle, who in the hell are you?"
"He's out," she replied. When the girl finally gave her name, Isabel's head tilted to the side. Bobby had spoken to someone named Ellen Harvelle the other day, but Isabel hadn't heard anything about a daughter, but then again, he might not have known that this Jo person was stopping by.
"I'm Isabel and a Hunter," she replied. "Sorry for the gun, but can't be to careful these days." The hand that held the bottle of Holy water came up to show Jo. "Some Holy water, gotta ask you to take a drink before I can lower the gun. No offense, just got to make sure you are who you say you are."

Joanna figured this girl was somewhat of a hunter, considering with the gun and the holy water in her hand, there was something going on with her. And one could pin that she was a hunter, Jo tilted her head to the side, taking a look around the living room. So, Bobby was out. Figures, he usually was gone anytime she was here or her mother came to visit. Perhaps she should of called first, Jo did have a habit in not calling people, she always just showed up.
She didn't feel insulted by the fact that Isabel had a gun on her, since Jo could be anybody to her, she would of did the same thing. Which she has did that many times, she could remember with just meeting Dean and Sam for the very first time, not knowing who they were, that did throw off the warning and the alarm off.
"I would say nice to meet you but considering with the gun and Holy Water. That'll have to come later, I guess." Jo gave him a slight smirk. She looked at her handing her the Holy Water, her hand reached over and took the Holy Water, she wanted her to drink it. Fine, it's not like she would go all black eyed or yellow eyed on the girl. Jo was no demon, nothing from Hell. Well her mother did say one time she was a spawn from Hell but that was just being pissed off at her daughter, just being funny and that rarely happened. Jo usually was the only one who got a glimpse of Mama Harvelle joking around, not many other hunters saw it. Would ruin the whole 'better than art thou' mother deal rep.
She opened the Holy Water and took a mouthful of it, not liking it was warm but she had to drink it, last she would ever be is suspicious.
Jo swallowed the Holy Water with a little disgusting look on her face. "God, I hate warm water." She stuck her tongue out for a moment. "There, no black smoke..no black eyes. Now you can put the gun down anytime."

She never heard of Bobby ever mention of a hunter name Isabel but when has she ever heard Bobby ever tell her that much, since mostly he was going and following orders from her mother who was morally against her daughter's choice of being a hunter like her husband, and like Jo's father. Joanna though was proud to be a hunter, if there would be a time where she was going to end up like her father, then so be it. Least she went into the fight with a loud rifle and fought, she didn't give up. Which is why she decided to be a hunter, make her father proud, get bits and pieces of her father back..
"Sorry, can't be too careful now a days. I'm Isabel Berkeley by the way."
Jo didn't take the whole drinking the Holy Water personal, there was really no need for the girl to apologize, but she only shrugged with a light smile. "No need for saying sorry, I would of did the same thing." She nodded to her as she introduced her. "Nice to meet you, Isabel Berkeley." Jo already said her name, no need to go into introducing a second time. Jo wanted to keep the conversation short and sweet as possible, she wasn't that much into talking to other people she barely knew. As she was in school, she was a freak with a knife collection. Having a friends was not that much of a need. She walked over to a table of books that was scattered all over the table, she wondered if that had something to do with some demon or maybe something to do with Lucifer rising in the placement of Dean's body as a vessel but it was just a rumor, she didn't know if it was real, no one told her..not even Bobby abd maybe it was because of her mother, keeping the idea out of Jo's head to not run to help Sam for Dean, her eyebrows rose as she picked up one of the book.
Lucifer..this, end of days..blah blah blah. Jo read privately to herself in her mind.
She decided not to wait to hear about the girl's excuse on being a hunter, her business was talking to Bobby which she wondered when he was going to be coming back.
Jo sat the book back down on the table, turned her head in the direction where Isabel stood. "Got any idea when Bobby is coming back?" Jo asked her.

"No need for saying sorry, I would of did the same thing."
"Oh, good, then I won't feel bad for pulling then gun," she said with a bright smile.
"Nice to meet you, Isabel Berkeley."
Isabel inclined her head slightly. "Nice to meet you as well." After that, she fell silent as she watched Jo move and look around the room. She didn't want to get to close, didn't want to make the fellow woman to get uncomfortable or anything. Obviously she knew something about the supernatural world, but Isabel wasn't for sure if that meant she was a hunter or not.
"Got any idea when Bobby is coming back?"
With a quick glance as her arm, she replied, "About thirty or so minutes. He had to pick up some stuff, food and all that. Wants to make sure he's prepared in case a whole group show up." With a slight smile, she gave a small shrug of her shoulders. "Is there anything I might be able to help you out with?"

Joanna pushed her hair back behind her ear, wondering where in the hell Bobby was, even if he was told to be gone getting some things and food like the new girl, Isabel said to her. Her impatience was wearing thin but maybe she would just leave and not worry about staying here for much longer, ever since she left her mother's under surveillance she decided to not linger in places much often, she really didn't feel like at home at any of the places she rested or lived in, the motels was okay but it was never the same, not like her home when he father was gone, ever since her father passed on. Her home never seemed the same.
"About thirty or so minutes. He had to pick up some stuff, food and all that. Wants to make sure he's prepared in case a whole group show up. Is there anything I might be able to help you out with?"
When the question came to mind about if there was anything Isabel could help her with, not really, she was basically here to see Bobby, to see if he heard from her mother. Instead of calling first, her mom hadn't been answering her phone calls and it was unlike her, just she worried about her and knew that Bobby would know what to do. Plus she wanted to see a friendly face. She been on the road for a long long time, barely seeing the normal and familiar faces, it's been a long time since she seen the Winchester boys and Ash, and her mom, she missed them all but felt this whole being on her own thing was for the best.
"No actually, kind of some business between Bobby and I. So how long have you been a hunter?" She decided to ask, changing the subject instantly.

Sounds like a lot of hunters out there started when they were young to starting when they were teenagers, Jo was born into all of this like some aren't. Some would just become a hunter based on revenge from somebody who they loved died in the hands of the supernatural, then there was ones who just decided to become a hunter because they hated the evil out there.
Jo was born into this, and sort of doing this based on revenge. There was another reason, she did this because it was the closest thing she could ever do because her father used to be a hunter, the more she does it..the closer she becomes to her father, not based on death.
"Since I could walk," she volunteered. "Roughly a few months after my grandmother past. What about you?"
"My father William Harvelle used to be a hunter, he died on a job with his partner, John Winchester. Least John was alive for awhile, not killed that very night." There was more to the story. According to her mother. John was suppose to be there to help her father, instead he did not play in the mission, he was half reason why her father is dead. Though she holds no grudge against the Winchester brothers, at first it seemed she did but afterwards she had to keep her cool and not go overboard over something that happened years ago, no matter how deep the cut was in her heart.
"So after my father died, later on I became one. My mother hated the fact, so I've been in this ever since I was a kid, didn't fully go into the process until my teens. Mother's are overly protective so it took awhile to push her into letting me do what I wanted to do." She gave a small shrug. "That's about it.." Jo smiled a little to her.
"You live here with Bobby?" Joanna asked curiously, since Bobby usually had visitors from hunters, one staying was a different story, he was more of a loner. He did things by himself and helped out Dean and Sam a lot but in his place, he was by himself usually..

"My father William Harvelle used to be a hunter, he died on a job with his partner, John Winchester. Least John was alive for awhile, not killed that very night."
"I'm so sorry," she said sincerely. Losing someone, no matter when, was always hard, she knew from having lost her mother and from the memories the family told of her grandmother. Though it was a bit surprising that someone died on a hunt with John, that just proved how dangerous this job was.
"So after my father died, later on I became one. My mother hated the fact, so I've been in this ever since I was a kid, didn't fully go into the process until my teens. Mother's are overly protective so it took awhile to push her into letting me do what I wanted to do. That's about it.."
Isabel nodded at the explanation, a slight smile curled at her lips on hearing Jo's mother not wanting her to be in this either. That made her briefly wonder whether or not her own mom would have been supportive of her decision to become a huntress. She was sure her mom would eventually accepted it, but would probably always be worried, kind of like how her and her brothers were when it came to Lily. None of them really wanted her to be a hunter, though they'd trained her since she could walk as well, but if she made the choice, they'd support her no matter how much they didn't want too.
"You live here with Bobby?"
That question brought her out her thoughts and she shook her head in response. "No, just staying for a little while," she explained. "I know the Winchesters. Recently ran into Sam by accident..." Here she trailed off and glanced off to the side before her eyes returned to the young woman. "Have you heard the rumors."

It wasn't her fault but at least she was being generous enough to give her gratitude over Jo's lost which was so long ago, it happened when she was just in pig-tails. "I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother too, it's hard to lose a loved one." She said very sincerely as possible, she should of said something a short time ago but Jo was so wrapped up into everything else, her whole being nice and seemingly having some common sense was not helping at all.
"I know the Winchesters. Recently ran into Sam by accident..." Here she trailed off and glanced off to the side before her eyes returned to the young woman. "Have you heard the rumors."
"Seems like everybody knows Dean and Sam, or the Winchester's." She said it, not meaning to sound like she was ungrateful of Dean and Sam, just she did not hear or see them anymore as if they disappeared into Space or just completely forgot about her. Not even one phone call from Dean either. and how things between her and Sam went was not on the best of terms, considering he almost killed her but she knew it was not his fault. To the mentioning about her running into Sam by accident, so that must of meant that Sam was all right, she wondered about Dean though, she hadn't heard from him in a long time.
Her face made a sudden change to the question about her hearing rumors.
"What rumors?" Jo asked Isabel curiously.

At the condolences for her grandmother, she gave a slight nod. It was a long time ago and she never got to know her grandmother. That was hard, to know so many loved her, yet she had no other way to know about the woman. So Isabel was thankful for Jo's condolences.
"Seems like everybody knows Dean and Sam, or the Winchester's."
That brought a look of question on her face. With her brow drawn up, she gave a small shrug before she added, "Well when you're popular, I guess."
"What rumors?"
She suppressed the sigh at Jo's response. Not that she had any problems with retelling the story of what was going on, she'd just preferred if Jo already knew. What she didn't like was having to tell what happened to Dean, she was sure the same could be said for Sam.
"We're gonna need some beers," she replied before she moved towards the kitchen. Only after she had two beers in her hand, one she held out to the other woman, did she start to speak again. "The demons wanted to raise Lucifer, that's what's been going on all these weeks, months, actually, all these years. The seals that were being broken where locks on the door to release him. They succeeded. Lucifer has risen."

Now Jo thought that whole thing with Lucifer was not real, but to hear it was, that was the biggest part of it, Jo took the beer from her in a unsure response to hear that he did rise from hell and he was walking on Earth. "Uh--thanks." she told her for the beer; she would of asked the girl if she was serious or if she was kidding but the look on Isabel's face proved that she was not kidding around at all, this was no joking matter, Jo shaked her head at the issuing problem about Lucifer was actually here on Earth. They actually succeeded, and that made her worry more about her mother since she hadn't heard from her in awhile.
It might just be concidential.
Jo blinked with a big surprised look on her face. "Damn, I can't believe it really happened. So, that's why Bobby has been so secretive lately. I can't believe it, so it is true.."
