Silently she followed Dean as he made his way along the side of the house. Finally they'd been blessed with some information that let to finding Sam. Now the hard part came, getting him out, along with everyone else, alive. For her that was a double deal because she felt like she'd pass out from exhaustion at any moment. The attacks in her sleep had only gotten worse, but she refused to let that keep her from helping Sam. Plus Dean couldn't stomach the idea of leaving her by herself.
Isabel's eyes connect with Dean when he looked over his shoulder. At the motion to the back down, she gave a small nod of her head, while her hands tightened around her gun. This wasn't the best plan, she knew, but they didn't have much left. Dean needed to get Sam out of here before things got worse, like with Sam dying. She knew no one would be able to live through that unfortunate twist if it happened.
With a deep breath, a silent prayer, Isabel waited for Dean's next move, ready to follow him instantly.

Waking up from a pain induced blackout, Sam blinked bleary eyes open. How many days had it been? Weeks even? Sam didn't know, he'd lost count. The times he'd lost consciousness were now starting to mix with the times he'd just fallen asleep on his own, and he wasn't even sure he knew which was which anymore. The sharp sting of deep cuts and burns that Lucifer and Adramelech had inflicted on him turned into constant throbs. The cuts, bruises, breaks, whatever else Sam really didn't want to know from the physical beatings, almost paled in comparison to the words that Lucifer always left him with. He thought about hell, he thought about Dean, about what Dean did in hell and what hell had done to Dean, and what hell would do to him... Once Lucifer was done with him of course.
And when he wasn't thinking about that, he was worrying over his brother and his friend. Why was it taking so long? Was Dean okay? Was Isabel okay? Had Lucifer already killed them both and just left him here to die? The only worse fate than that was if Lucifer had killed them both and let him live. He'd rather have died, knowing that Dean and Isabel were dead.
Letting those thoughts die off for the moment, Sam blinked again, groaning softly at the constant throbs that he'd become accustomed to. Lifting his head off his chest was another obstacle, one that he really didn't have the energy to overcome. Pulling uselessly at the chains that had rubbed his wrists raw and bloody, Sam gave that up almost immediately. He was waiting, constantly alert and waiting. He hoped today would be the day that they would just leave him alone. He was on his last leg, didn't think he could take anymore. As of late he'd just been wishing they'd kill him already, but of course, neither of them were that kind. So, letting his eyes slip closed again, it took too much energy to keep them open and everything was kind of gray and blurred anyways, he waited, like always.

When he moved to the door, she was only a step behind him. Her eyes and ears searching, listening for any sign of something out of the ordinary. As he moved to pick the lock, she shifted her body to better protect his back. From side to side, her eyes swept, but nothing happened.
The click she heard brought her eyes over her shoulder to look at him. She gave a nod in return before she moved to press her back against the side of the wall. Her heart wanted to jump out of her chest, but she forced herself to stay calm. Getting excited would only hurt their cause, they couldn't afford mistakes. Sam needed them right now, that was all that mattered.
Dean finally slipped inside and signaled for her to follow. As if she had any other choice. Isabel was in no condition to lead anyone right now, she knew that and wouldn't argue about it either. Now if the nightmares weren't happening, things would be different, sadly they weren't and she just had to deal with them the best she could right now.

The silence in the room was broken, and if he hadn't been trained his whole life to notice these things, Sam wouldn't have. Whoever it was, was calculated, trained, silent... The hunter felt his heart rate pick up as he tried to convince himself that this time it would be over soon and that he could take it. He was born and raised a hunter, dammit, so he should still be fighting! But he couldn't. Sam had never been in so much pain, felt so weak and hopeless in his entire life. Not to mention he'd been living off of bread and water for weeks, and small rations at that.
“Sam…”
Upon hearing that, Sam's heart nearly stopped. He knew that voice, that was Dean. Opening his eyes with a little effort, Sam concentrated on lifting his head when he heard the shuffling of Dean rushing over to him.
“Sorry it took me so long Sammy.”
As badly as Sam wanted to just give in and feel the utter relief that was right around the corner, he couldn't, because he knew what this was. It was the day he'd been both waiting for and dreading since he'd gotten here. Dean and Isabel had found him, but at what cost? Where were Lucifer and Adramelech?
"No-" Sam started, his voice barely above a whisper as he finally lifted his head off his chest. Blinking to try and clear his vision, Sam concentrated on speaking so Dean understood and got it the first time. "I tried to tell you... On the phone. It's a trap, Dean. You can't- you have to go. Both of you. Please, he- he'll kill you."

She moved quickly down the hall behind him, not wanting to get accidentally separated. The last thing any of them needed was for Dean or her to get lost or worse. They all needed a break, needed time to heal and get better. Isabel wondered if that would ever actually happen.
As Dean moved to open the door where they hoped Sam would be, she pressed her lips together before she glanced around. Everything was quiet, for now, but she couldn't decide whether or not that was a good thing. Easily this could have been a mistake, yet she knew Dean was right that they had to try. Sam couldn't be left here to die, no one deserved that fate no matter what they had done. She was sure Sam would argue differently, but she wouldn't listen, no matter how much he gave her those damn puppy eyes.
“Sam…”
Isabel turned to look into the room before she followed. A small gasp tore from her throat at seeing her friend so badly injured. How could anyone stand that kind of torture. "Are those burns?" she asked in horror.
“Sorry it took me so long Sammy.”
"No-"
Oh thank God, she thought, he was still alive. Her body turned to look out the door, but no one was coming. That didn't mean shit though, they still had to hurry. "Is there locks or something on the chains?"
"I tried to tell you... On the phone. It's a trap, Dean. You can't- you have to go. Both of you. Please, he- he'll kill you."
Like that ever stopped Dean. Still, though she knew Sam was right, she didn't get any sudden feeling like she had before. By now she figured she'd be able to sense when...
"Dean... their coming."

"Dean... their coming."
Feeling that sinking feeling he always felt when Lucifer neared, Sam subconsciously pulled on his chains a little bit, biting back the fear that was threatening to tear him apart.
“Then we just have to buy ourselves some time…”
"He can't know you're here!" Sam insisted, his voice a hiss because his heart had suddenly plummeted to the bottom of his stomach. "He told me..." Sam couldn't really repeat what he'd been told, the words like a knife in the gut about what Lucifer was gonna do to them. God, please you guys just go."
“Shoot the chains!”
At Dean's command, Isabel did so and Sam felt one side snap and come undone, and then the other side followed a moment later. Sam grunted, unable to hold his weight up when he fell to the floor and bit back the cry of pain that threatened to spill from his lips. His muscles were cramped and sore from weeks of barely any use, and his entire body just hurt. But it seemed he was in a losing battle trying to get them to go, so he tried to do all he could to help. Using what little strength he had, Sam tried pushing himself up off the floor and groaned when his sore wrists protested.
He managed to get himself to his knees and fell back against the wall with a small growl of frustration. "You guys aren't going to get anywhere with me, I'm gonna get you killed!" He hissed again, his frustration, worry, and fear bubbling to the surface.

“Come on you big lug. M’not goin’ anywhere without you so suck it up an’ stop playin’ the martyr. You an’ I both know m’not leavin’ you here.”
"Stubborn ass," Sam said, though his tone wasn't angry. Eying his brother hard at the words, Sam couldn't find it in him to protest anymore, especially when the clock was ticking and an argument would only slow things down.
"Not to mention it would be pretty low of us to leave you here after all this."
Meeting Isabel's eyes for a moment, Sam gave a minute nod, though he was mostly assessing the other hunter. He was happy to see her seemingly physically okay, but what didn't he know? What had Lucifer done to her? Because yes, Lucifer lied, but not when he didn't have to. Biting back the grunt of pain that wanted to escape him when Dean hauled him to his feet, Sam squeezed his eyes shut and took as deep of breath as he could manage before they started moving. He helped with his weight as much as he could, but as for now, he was pretty useless with the whole moving thing. They'd only taken a few steps before the door started rattling and Sam's entire body froze.
“Isabel! The window!”
"Dean, it's stuck, Cover you're eyes."
Feeling the growing panic rise in his chest, Sam turned his head away, protecting his face so that Isabel could take a shot at the window. They needed to get out of here and they needed to do it right now. Otherwise they were all gonna die.
