I spoke to Kelly personally over the phone regarding this, she has DVD region x for the PS2 and also her TV supports both Pal and NTSC connections. You just have to make sure you have a pure RGB scart lead. The lead she was using was an AV composite lead which is the 3 colours going in to a scart block which is why she saw it in black and white. Also while we are the subject if any one has a green looking DVD this is because they are using a RF lead which is the circular lead you must tune in to your TV manually. Btw I forgot how great KellyC signature is :).
