Q.) What is Tech Support Forum?
A.) A huge Forum that is broken up in to specific areas to help users locate or post support to one another.

Q.) What makes this different to other forum boards?
A.) We will achieve in gaining the largest Forum for computing services on the Internet, over a period of time the forum will fill up with thousands of users from all over the globe bringing their own expertise and knowledge to help and support others.

Q.) How Does the Ranking Work?
A.) Ranking is Shown as Follows from Highest Ranking Order:

Administrator

� Administers the Tech Support Forum, Moderators and Staff.

Shown in Red

Super Moderator

� A Co- administrator of the Tech Support Forum.

Shown in Silver

Global Moderator

� An Operator of a specific Category, supervises moderators and posts within their category.

Shown in Green

Moderator

� Operator of their specific Forum.

Shown in Blue

Developer

� Designer and Adviser of the specific Construction Forums.

Shown in Purple

Staff

� Members of the Tech Support Team often User who do market research and post new events or just monitor the board from time to time.

VIP

(Very Important Person) � When a User has reached 300 posts he or she can gain special benefits being: editing of their own or any posting from other Users within their topics, a special picture name tag is given to this User, allowance of postings of calendar events, bumping of their own topics and no without waiting in moderator queues.

Elite Member

� When a User has reached 200 posts a member gains this tag with the same benefits as the VIP. Not Colour Coded.

Professional Member

� When a User has reached 100 Posts they receive this name. Not Colour Coded.

Superior Member

� When a User has Reached 50 Posts they receive this name. Not Colour Coded

Active Member

� When a User has reached 30 Posts they will receive this name. Not Colour Coded.

Member

� The name given to any User under 30 posts but still registered. Not Colour Coded.

Guest

� Name given to people who are not currently registered but are visiting the site, these Users unfortunately cannot post on the Tech Support Forum till the are registered members. Guests also cannot see avatars and signatures till signed in. Not Colour Coded.

!Banned!

� This is the section of banned Users who at one point or another violated the TOS or Misused the forum. Not Colour Coded.

Q.) Can Any one add an Event to the Calendar?
A.) No unfortunately not only the Tech Support Team, VIP Members and Elite Members can. This is so all Calendar Events are official and of the Computing Genre. If you wish to add an Event but are not registered or not ranked high enough please email us so we can authenticate it. If you wish to email us please click Here and add any other relevant information E.g. Prices, Date, Location and if possible Website Reference.

Q.) Is the Tech Support Forum only for English users?
A.) There is a Google translate bar at the bottom of each forum which you may use to translate post.

Q.) What is the "Warn Bar" bellow my name?
A.) This is a 3 Strikes "You're out Procedure" every time you misuse the Forum or Break the TOS You get a Strike. On your third You are Suspended in Some Cases Banned. Admin & Global monitors have the right to Ban instantly if the misuse or breach of TOS is Severe.

Q.) What is the Portal
A.) A portal is a kind of Web site. Technically speaking, a portal site includes a start page with rich navigation, a collection of loosely-integrated features (some of which may be provided by partners or other third parties), and a diverse, large target audience.

Q.) What is an Avatar and Signature?
A.) As Follows:

Avatar - Avatars refer to pictures, drawings, or icons that users choose to represent themselves in a cyberspace system. Avatars offer a new opportunity for self-expression. Here is an Example of an Avatar shown Underneath:

Signature - A signature is a short file that can be automatically appended to an E-mail message or news posting. A signature file can contain the user's name, preferred E-mail address, home page URL and a short saying. Here is an Example of a Signature shown Underneath:

Q.) Will the Tech Support Group be making anything else?
A.) During the early part of next year 2004 we hope to work on some other projects mainly organising the forum boards into a database to make it easier for users to search. A Support Directory is also being projected.

Terms Of Service

1. Registering � When on the Tech Support Forum you are bound by the FSF Forums and agreements set. The monitoring of all posts is set to ensure these policies are not breached. You're bound to agree to ALL of the TOS at every time you log on.

2. Service - FSF Forums will only provide as-is service with NO guarantees of fluid service to the board. The Tech Support forum does not run invisionboard.

3. Content- The content of this board is defined as posts, messages, links, emails, uploaded files, or any other user created data (herein called Content). You the user will abide to invisionboards TOS before agreeing to mine. You are responsible for ANY topics you post at the forums. Tech Support Forum Cannot however guarantee the accuracy, legitimacy, quality, integrity, etc of any Content. Tech Support Forum Cannot guarantee that your content will not be deleted, damaged, and or lost.

4. Signatures and Avatars, keep them clean not including any of point 6 in the Terms of Service.

5. Warning System - 3 Strikes "Your out Procedure" every time you misuse the Forum or Break the TOS You get a Strike. On your third You are Suspended in Some Cases Banned. Admin & Global monitors have the right to Ban instantly if the misuse of the Forum or breach of TOS is Severe.

6. Prohibited Content- You the user may NOT post, upload, link, instructs about, or provide prohibited content. Prohibited Content includes any Content that breaks any local, state, county, national or international law.
Prohibited Content also includes:

- Content that infringes upon any rights (including, but not limited to, copyrights and privacy rights) E.g Emulators or ROM's
- Abusive, threatening, defamatory, racist, or obscene.
- Viruses, Hacking, or any other harmful computer software.
- False Information; libel.
- Spam or Pyramid schemes.
- Gambling.
- Illegal Drugs.
- Terrorism.
- Warez, CD-Keys, Serial Numbers, etc.
- Pornography, nudity, or sexual material of any kind.
- Excessive profanity
- Invasive of privacy or impersonation of any person or entity.

7. Termination- You agree that we may delete your account on the board you use. I may ban your e-mail address, user name, etc or remove/change any Content from any board or from your account, without notice or compensation. Your account may be deleted for any violation of Tech Support Forum policy, Terms of Service, or for any justified reason. Tech Support Forum is NOT required to explain why your account/Content was deleted or edited.

8. Modification of the TOS- I reserve the right to change these TOS at period. This can happen without notice. This will be in effective as soon as they are posted. You're welcome to keep using our service as long as you agree with the TOS.

9. User Dilemmas- You alone are responsible to contact a Administrator or a moderator with such disputes. We reserve the right to mediate and patrol the forums but not obligated to. You will in every way try to explain disputes in a mature and mildly fashion. Any such imprudence around these forums such as (e.g. Harsh jokes, pranks, or any other links that will cause erratic or unwanted changes to the users, monitor will have the 'poster' of that content be banned indefinitely.)
