this is your stop to visit the oh so wonderful canon list and pick out your character. make sure to check out the extra information! after you have looked over both, run over and fill out the application template and post it in the finished or unfinished forum, but not in the pending, that's where the admins will move your application if it needs any changes before being accepted, and try to avoid the denied forum, remember you get one second chance if you are denied!

the grounds
Said to be the most beautiful part of Hogwarts, the grounds play host to the magnificent Black Lake, and the forbidden Forbidden Forest. There is also the merciless Whomping Willow, and the beautiful, lush gardens. It is a popular hang-out spot during the months of summer. Also you will find the greenhouses, the quidditch pitch, and the relaxing lawns of the grounds.

It is normal to be able to see your breath during the winter months down in the dungeons. Hosting the Potions classroom and Slytherin common-room the Dungeons are a labyrinth of darkness and the cold.

Host to the Great Hall, the ground floor can be entered through the Entrace Hall. It is also known that the Staff Room is located here, along with Filch's office, Kitchens, and the Hufflepuff common-room, and also a curious broom closet used to various things.

The first floor is a host for many different classrooms, including the Hospital Wing, which seems to be having more patients lately. Be careful, Old Mrs Pomfrey is becoming quite irritated with all the accidents.

The second floor is famous for the abandoned girls' bathroom, named as 'Moaning Myrtle's bathroom' after the Hufflepuff died over seventy years ago. Beware, the emotional ghost still lingers behind, waiting to terrorize any student that enters her bathroom. She has been known to flood it when she is extremely upset.

Host to the Charms classroom, Armor Gallery and the Trophy Room, the third floor is a rarely visited level, except for the occasional students passing through to get to other floors. This makes it a good floor for 'snogging'. Be careful, students; the teachers know this and keep a constant watch on the dark corners of the corridors.

Here you can find the Prefect's bathroom, an elaborate and fancy room the size of a classroom, with a pool-like bath tub with many exotic taps. Beware students; Prefects only beyond this point. You have been warned.

sixth floor
The sixth floor is infamous for the 'Slytherin Bad Boy' hang out. You will often find the seventh year Slytherin boys in the corridor, smoking and drinking and getting high. Steer clear, because these guys are unpredictable in this state. Not many people visit the sixth floor because of this reason.

Hosting the Room of Requirement, the head's common room, and the Gryffindor common-room, the seventh floor is a highly-visited place for Divination as well. Be careful; the Room of Requirement has been acting up lately and allowing students in while other students are already occupying it.

Visit the Astronomy Tower to stargaze, or the Owlery if you need to send a large package to your parents back home. It is often you will find a Ravenclaw destined for their common-room here. And perhaps if you listen closely enough, you will be able to hear the Head students having one of their usual screaming matches.

where the students third year and above go to on those special trips. you can find Honeydukes Sweet Shop, the Three Broomsticks, the Shrieking Shack, the Hogs Head, Madam Puddifoot's, Gladrags Wizardwear, Dervish and Banges, the Quill Shop, and Zonko's Joke Shop.

There's a rumor that on a clear day, you can actually see Ireland. I'm not sure how true that actually is for the sun doesn't always come out tomorrow.
