General description::
Despite being sorted into Slytherin, Olivia is generally a nice girl. She is an easy laugher and can find humor in almost any situation, even those in which laughter isn’t all that appropriate. It’s hard for you to truly get a hurtful insult in when directed at Olivia. She isn’t offended easily and quite often brushes it off and dishes back a blunt word back. When angered, however, truly angered, the eldest Coote child tends to get defensive, making a scene and spilling secrets. The anger is soon disposed of, though, as Olivia finds it extremely difficult to hold a grudge. Although Olivia is usually a mild-tempered sweetheart, her Slytherin roots show most when she wants something. She will go to almost any means to get what she want, even if it means backstabbing a friend or causing an unnecessary scene. Her love of being the center of attention causes her to do random and spontaneous things that aren’t always well though through. In fact, Olivia rarely thinks her plans all the way to the end. If she thinks of something, she does it, and hey, if people are watching her in shock with their undivided attention, who is she to argue? When in trouble, being yelled at isn’t her strong point, Olivia will weasel and lie and bribe to get out of it.

Olivia is one of those girls who would be happy if the entire Hogwarts library mysteriously burned and was never replaced. Olivia isn’t one for books. She believes reading to be a waste of time; both fiction and non-fiction, because anything books can teach you can be taught orally, learned throughout life, or they are pages filled with fluffy nonsense. She doesn’t believe in reading things that are never going to happen, that don’t revolve around her. Although Olivia isn’t a fan of literature, don’t make the mistake of thinking her an incompetent idiot. She learns from real life experiences and adores lectures. Her grades aren’t perfect, but they aren’t bad either. Most of her schoolwork is book work or essays, so Olivia doesn’t exactly try very hard, but when the occasional oral report comes along, she’s slave away for hours deciding on how to get the most attention doing it.

&&__family history
father’s name:: Ritchie Coote
mother’s name:: Eloise Coote nee midgen
sibling’s name:: Stephen Coote, Nelly Coote, Dustin Coote
history::
Ritchie and Eloise had the simple love story that any other which or wizard would have, which, coincidentally, was going to be come one of Olivia’s favorite bedtime story. They met at school (or was it work?) and essentially fell head over heels in love. They moved in together, married, and eventually, Eloise announced a bit of absolutely fantastic news. They were to be borne a baby girl.

Olivia, born the oldest child of four, was never really alone through her childhood. She grew up playing with her siblings, and occasionally- always- throwing fits and tantrums when she didn’t get her way. She grew up in an environment where you had to fight to get the most attention, and fight was exactly what she did. By being constantly surrounded by people, Olivia grew to be extremely uncomfortable when she was left alone. At eleven years of age, Olivia was accepted to Hogwarts (although, when her letter came and she was told her sibling couldn’t come with her, the entire neighborhood could hear her screaming about unfairness.) She made friends almost instantly and absolutely loved the school. (And again, she threw another screaming fit when she found that her younger brother would be attending the next year.)

When Olivia was sorted into Slytherin, more than a few people were surprised. Even those few hours on the train convinced people she’d be a Hufflepuff or maybe a Gryffindor. Truthfully, it didn’t seem as if she fit in any house. Kids were shocked; she didn’t show any Slytherin signs. She wasn’t prejudiced against different houses like other Slytherin’s were; honestly, she didn’t really seem to care and she didn’t seem all that ready to betray someone for herself, although she definitely was. And although not very many could believe their ears, this was one of Olivia’s favorite moments. Why? Because she was in the spotlight.

role-playing sample::
Leigh growled. That was the only word that could be used to describe the throaty sound that was emitting from her. She growled in deep, agitated frustration, narrowed her eyes and shook her head, making her seem quite like a rabid dog that had just spotted a rabbit.

At the current moment in time, she was cramped up in a table towards the back of the library, Advanced Transfiguration: Grade 7 propped open to page one hundred and thirty nine. It was easy to see that Leigh Berkeley was not, in fact, reading from her book, but instead hiding from a certain dark haired prick and pondering the mystery of the mind of a boy. She wasn’t having much luck with the latter, however, and another growl was let loose. Faintly, she could make out the sound of Madam Pince shushing her, and then speaking to another student.

Leigh rapidly flipped the pages in her book, not quite looking for anything, just needed something for her fingers to do. ‘The arrogant jerk,’ She fumed silently, recalling the events prior to her stake out at the library. Leigh had been walking along the corridor earlier, only to be stopped by a sound that sounded strangely like a moan from a broom closet. She’s been horrified when she realized what could have been happening in that small amount of space that was but five feet from her, and practically screamed when the doors flew open. Her shout was cut short, however, when she realized who the boy, whom also seemed to have no shirt on, was. Who other than the black haired boy named Chase Crowley that had pronounced his love to her just hours before? Needless to say, Leigh hadn’t stuck around to find out exactly what had gone on in that broom closet, but instead hightailed it to the library, counting on Crowley fear of books to keep him from looking for her there.

Slamming the book shut, Leigh realized that recalling that memory hadn’t exactly helped her temper. ‘I can’t believe he’d do that!’ She was incredibly angry, and it wasn’t good for anyone who crossed Leigh Mortimer’s path while she was mad. ‘Well,’ she though, standing up in a huff, book bag in one hand, transfiguration book in the other; vengeful smile upon her lips, ‘You’re going to wish you’d never met me, Chase Crowley. You’re going to wish you’d never been born.’
