baseball and basket ball aren't to famous but we do have them. We're more focused on Cricket and Football..... I believe.

yeah, we have them here as well but there not very popular.

well i meant the baseball and basketball, the only really big sports here are football (soccer) and rugby, thouygh really the main one is football (soccer)

no-one plays that at all here that i've noticed, they would play rugby instead.

Don't know, football soccer came first i think so i don't know why American football used that name, proably just to confuse people.

Maybe cause it sounded more "American" football is like baseball... 2 sylables and baseball was very popular... and since football involved running across a court.. I think thats why americans chose Football then anyother.
