i really enjoy the simpsons but i have seen most of them a lot of times so it is starting to loose its appeal

it sort of is and isn't the ideal would be that they kept creating new ones but as that is unlikely to happen all the time better to have the occasional repeat rather than not have it at all.

I read somewhere that it takes up to a month just to make one half hour episode.

Yeah I don't know how they do it. Maybe they have like a couple of teams working on different episodes.

what they do (i assume) is that they start by making quite a few different episodes before they start broadcasting, then when they are playing they continue making more, the idea is that by the time all the ones you have broadcast have been played you have more new ones to bring out, unfortunatly it still takes too much time making new episodes so you have to reapeat the old ones.

they'll probably do that as some form of simpsons special at some point, if they haven't already done one.

the simsons is a good show (though i rarely watch it) because i dont know what time it is on

I love the Simpsons. How do they not run out of jokes and story lines?! Although I have to stop myself from watching it too much because otherwise I'll get bored with it. Which would be annoying.

Indeed it would. I stopped watching it for a while because i had seen basically every episode 3 or 4 time (at the time)

I've actually started buying all the seasons on DVD and I've found that watching an old Simpsons episode when feeling down and depressed is a great way to cheer yourself up.
