has anyone seen this? looks to be a massive event, already 12 groups signed up for it, are any of our members going? its actually in our neck of the woods and for a very good cause too.

As a update was told today nearly 30 groups have shown interest to get involved now and also below is the new cover of WW2 Re-enactors magazine showing the event, with so many involved i think its a good one for a big group like the Northern Forties to be involved in. Anybody else got any feedback?

There's another thread running on this event. I know Matt Page, the organiser as he only lives a couple of miles away from me. As I said on the other thread, I am willing to coordinate this one if we have enough volunteers. The location at Longththorpe Hall is excellent.

Wayne has now appointed me co-ordinator for this event and through talks and update mails from Matt Page have got Northern Forties listed under groups attending the event along with a link back to Northern Forties homepage. When i come back from Pickering i will be sending emails to gauge the interest in it from our members and sub groups.

Final shout out for those who want to attend this event as its the 8th of January, and the closing date for event siting meeting is the 14th, i am compiling paperwork to send off now to Matt Page.

I want to thank everyone for getting paperwork and applications back to me for this event, as they were all submitted to Matt Page organiser before the deadline.
May i also add that i can no longer help about enquirys from people wanting to now go to the event some from people who didnt get in touch with me in the first place.
