What is it with that forum they never seem to be happy if they are not slating or calling some body/group i have just deleted my details on it & will not be going on there again boy they must have a realy sad sad life.

Went back on the "forum" as i have 5 notifications of replys & gues what they are arguing about the taking of pictures with reenacters not wearing the right atire

It is terrible state that forum is they do not help people get things better and right, just knock people down. You use word re-enactors a word I would use for people that at least try, but they use it to mean someone who in their eyes is 100% correct.
They talk as if we are all in fancy dress hired gear and only them should attend events.

I would actually love it at a event for someone to come up to me and say that as everything is original that i wear haha especially the flight gear, doesnt get any better on there does it dear me, if they spent less time pulling each other and other to bits and spent it being creative and helping to make things better, what sad lives they lead, no wonder in part historical re-enactment or some of it is in such a state, not just WWII either, its even worse in other quarters like Medieval and god forbid ECWS to me it tells me that in some ways it hasnt moved forward and i,ve been doing this as a hobby on and off since 1989, not just WWII but other areas of history, started off as a 14th century man at arms all those years ago. If you dont want to get angry, or frustrated at keyboard warriors who wave their virtual weapons at each other, trust me avoid forums haha at least in 1989 we waved our real ones at each other

5 yes 5 pages of moaning & groaning about the event & any event so i have deleted what i posted on it let's see how they go on with that.

I am not a member of that forum so am not in a postion to comment on what was written but ,if they attended the event (????), why don't they say something at the time. I'm wondering if we feed 'the usual suspects' egos when we post on it. Perhaps we should just let them feel all cosy and superior by leaving them to talk to, and amongst, themselves.

A i have said before i deleted my original post which was to "advertise" the 1/2 penny event & my following posts so now they are slagging off members of that forum & it realy does begger belief that the "MODS" are allowing it to carry on all it is doing & they (the mods) are allowing it is adding another nail in the coffin.
