Try different on line comparison sites, not just one.

Will be the insurence tax probably giving the pence.
Under £600 sounds in line with my family size car of just over £300.
Heard the other day a tip is to close or let expire present insurer then apply to him as a new customer, gets a lower quote they said.

How about this quote Bradford & Bingley £2863.70 think i would argue with the 70 pence if i chose this one :P :P

Insurance co's are always after new customers, that is why the quote goes up every year if you stay put because the long term "loyal customer" is subsidising the new ones. Bettcha if you phone as a new customer you will get a lower quote. The "money saving" web site recommends changing insurance companies every couple of years.

That's good value if it gives the cover you require.

I have an idea you live in a rural area, I live in a City with the worst insureance rates in the country due to 50% uninsured drivers and bad drivers.

3 miles outside city centre.

Idiots around here wouldnt know how to work the gear selector,,,, once they found it.

It has an isolator switch on it but if you use that then I dont think the alarm works.

Also, once the ignition key is taken out the transmission locks, so you cant even push it.
