It's on all of our minds at the moment here in Eccles it is £1:41 for diesel & still rising i have done my bit like some of you filled in the form sent by fair fuel & sent it to my local MP. It WILL affect some events we attend as we attend events according to our pockets i wonder how it will effect the War & Peace show?.Maggie has just won £50 on a scratch card she doesn't normally buy one but she felt lucky so bought one & won £50 so that went in diesel it costs £100 or there abouts to fill the Landy up at the moment & it IS effecting the events i would want to go to. I hope the PM has listened to the great British public about having a rise in fuel duty & put it down instead of up but ho-hum we can all dream.

Right with you Wayne. Diesel prices in Peterborough round about the £1.44 per litre mark. We're paying out over £200 a month in fuel. It's actually stopping us
adding to our RAF display. Still hoping to get to all our booked events this year but certainly Ha'penny will have cost us an arm and a leg by the time it's over.

Fuel prices always go up just before the budget.
Probably because the fuel companies know that people will rush out and fill thier tanks in case of a budget price increase.
Then after the budget the price will go down again but not by as much as the pre budget increase. :)

I've cut my fuel bills by a third.

I used to put £30 petrol in, now I only put £20 in! :rolleyes:

I tried to do that Martin but kept running out on the way home.
