B A S I C S

By joining Sailor Moon; New Moon, you are agreeing to the rules issued by the administration, which are subject to interpretation or modification as necessary by admins.

You may have up to four characters, if you feel you are capable of having more characters, permission IS needed from an administrator. At least ONE character must be a male.

No using TV, Celebrity, Cartoon or other copyrighted names. This is an original RPG and we expect original characters. If you have a spectacular idea and you NEED to have that name, PM an admin with your idea, and we will decide from there.

If you are caught breaking the rules, you will be warned. Second time offenders are suspended for a week and third time offenders will be banned.

Here at New Moon, we expect each member to be treated with respect. If you are respectful of the other members, they will be respectful of you.

A G E R E S T R I C T I O N S

You MUST be 16 or older to join this rp because of the explicit contents that may be found within. We will not be responsible if you read something you shouldn't have or don't like. You have been warned. If you lie about your age I can guarantee that you will be found out and banned without questions.

A P P L I C A T I O N S & R E G I S T R A T I O N

When registering, please register with your character's FIRST and LAST name. It makes for easier identification of the members. It is also annoying to see names such as harryxpotter301. If for some reason you have trouble, misspell the name accidentally, or need to have it changed, pleased contact an admin A.S.A.P so we can fix that for you.

Variety is highly valued, we prefer to see many different names, instead of five different Ashley characters running around. Last names must be different from another character, unless they are related.

Please do not post anywhere but the OOC area until your application has been accepted. It makes for alot of work for the admins if we have to run around after you deleting posts.

No MarySues/ Gary whatevers. Are you perfect? Because none of the admins here have yet to meet a perfect person, and fictional or not we expect your characters to have some flaws as well. The more quirks your character has, the more of an entertaining and fun character they will be to play, and it makes your character more likely to be accepted.

At this time we are not accepting any other Senshi then the ones that are listed, at least not until the current senshi positions are filled. If you feel that your new sailor senshi or knight is a perfect fit with the plot and so absolutely must be used, then just PM an admin and we'll talk it over. We're always open to suggestions and ideas that will further the plot.

P O S T I N G

Obviously, no one wants a one line post to try and reply to. We expect at least five lines per post, however, if the person you are playing with has a three paragraph post, we prefer if you do your best to match that. After all, if they can put effort into it, so can you.

Godmodding. No one has the right to control another persons character, unless they have given consent to do so, and a valid reason for it. If you are caught godmoding without consent, we will PM you first to let you know, to give you time to defend yourself or to correct your mistake. If you do not, an apologize to the other player(s) then you will be banned.

PLEASE RESPECT THE POSTING ORDER. Do not leave someone behind, wait until everyone else who has posted has a turn or left the thread before you post again. If a new player enters the thread then add them into the posting order whenever they post.

Sexual relationships are allowed to happen, however please put an 'NC-17' rating in the topic header to warn people. A person just browsing the board would probably like to know if they are going to end up reading something too graphic. Fade outs are also an option, as is taking the RP to an IM or PM session - it's completely up to you.

Fighting is bound to happen. Please keep in mind, you cannot kill off a character without being approved by an admin first. Also, we repeat. NO GODMODDING.

Swearing, well, who hasn't said something they shouldn't have? Swearing is also allowed, but we don't need sailors around here. As long as you can make sure every second word isn't swearing, you won't have a problem.

All posts IC must be third person, this is a third person style rp and so any posts or sample posts that are in first person will be deleted or rejected.

G R A P H I C S

We ask that you do not use anime/cartoons as your character portrayal. Vampirefreaks, Myspace, Facebook, celebrities etc, are more than welcome.

Signatures should not stretch out the page, or they will be removed immediately, that means they must be smaller than 500x500.
Avatars must be 150x150 or smaller.

Good with graphics? Why not set up a topic with some previews of your mad skills, and lend a hand to those who are less fortunate? It isn't necessary that you do so, but it is nice.

Advertising. Of course you can advertise your site here, on the condition that we can put an advert up at your site. Advertising is the main way to recruit new members. Want to become an affiliate of New Moon? Speak to an admin.

If you happen to have a problem with another member of the group, please leave it at the door or PM the other person. Do NOT flame the tagboard with hate messages. If for some reason you can't leave your differences behind, please contact an admin so the issue can be settled.
