Welcome to X-Men: New Beginings RPG.
It was over. The war was finally over. Mutants were finally being accepted for what they were, and were no longer hunted because of their differences. It had been a great victory, but with all victories in war, it had come with a high price. Lives had been torn apart, heroes had been lost, and young lives were left lost in the void that had been left after those they cared about had been taken from them. Scott Summers and Storm became the primary leaders of the Xavier Institute after Professor Xavier was all but lost to them, reclusive in his office and room barely saying a word to anyone after handing over the responsibility of the school to the remaining of his most trusted students. Most of the original X-Men are either dead, or missing. After the loss of Jean, the disappearance of Rogue, and Gambit, the school seemed... empty, even though it was full of new and younger students as well as those who had come back to help.
Senator Kelly is working in secret with Dr. Trask to get the Sentinel program up and running, ready for the day that his mutant registration act gets passed in congress.
Working in secret is the Brotherhood, rebuilding their ranks and readying themselves for the return of Magneto and for an attempt at rekindling the war to make mutants the dominant species on the planet. The lines are being drawn again, which side will you choose?
The board is rated MATURE for violence, language, and some mild sexual content.
