I actually built a set of co-phased 99's back in the early 90's. I must say they did work rather well and were directional. The only problem was the boom was pretty heavy and was really awkward to mount by yourself. It was a friends antenna and he stayed on the ground. I was really amazed at how well they did work for him. Just wanted you to know that they do work well when done Eli.

Eli, I know the feeling. Been rebuilding and coming up with ideas on upgrading my MS-114, then maybe apply Quantum Mech. to it and hear where that gets me. Need to change out the relays to something easier and more robust first.
