New Insanity - Death Awaits All Who Don't Act -, And it finally is in possitive progres

---OFFICIAL NEW INSANITY DISCUSSION TOPIC---

Recently, I started looking for help, cause its been a while since I started writing New Insanity. I finally found an artist who is not only amazing but agreed without hesitation to help me(finally, i've been looking for an artist for about 3 years since I started writing NI). I won't reveal who he is, and no, he doesn't goto this board either, so no guessing at who it might be.
We might be looking at one or three seven chapter volumes this year.
But since i'm posting a topic dedicated to my series now in true progress, i should post the beginning story.

THIS IS TAKEN FROM CHAPTER 1'S SCRIPT:

In the 21st century, the war between man and demon has still not ended.
Human kind had begun to give up hope. Religions began to crumble. Life
seemed as if it was close to ending. It was time that God came up
with a plan.

Year 1990. God sends the souls of five angels out to 5 human
bodies. However the devil predicted this and infected 3 of the
souls, turning them into pure demons.
The two that survived the travel are humanities last hope in
this time of turmoil and hell.
Cody Rosales, The Angel of Truth, and Synthia Youkai, the Angel
of Life were the survivors.
Cody would grew up in America while Synthia grew up in Japan.

Kazuki Youkai, owner of Youkai Co. of Japan, launches a full war
against the demons, now referred to as "Project New Insanity".
Since the beginning of earth, humans have been at war with
the demons. A frustrated and angry god sent down many angels,
but even God can become weak. This is the last hope for life on earth.

Remember that one character design, the one I infamously reused in signiture, wallpapers, and many over things? Cody Rosales? we're finally scrapping that Kakashi like design.
If you like blood this will be the manga for you. If you like Hokuto no Ken/The Fist of The North Star or JoJo's Bizzarre Adventure, this is for you(this like HNK that has strong ties with heaven and god, despite my disbelief in both).

Fun Fact:When I started writing New Insanity, I was a christian. That is why it has ties to heaven. Now, I wouldn't call my self totaly agnostic or aithiest, but I'm shurely not a christian.
But it was a good story, that I decided to keep it instead of scraping it. So, it still remains Angels vs Demons.

Anyways, I promise at least Ten volumes.

This will turn any good respecting christian off. Why? It portrays god as an angel with high powers, but not an all powerful being that is all knowing, and in all places. It portrays a desperate, frustrated, and angry god that is on the shit end of the stick in the never ending battle between Angels and Demons.
I really wanted to put a dark tone not only unto earth, but unto heaven too.
You'll see angels telling self-proclaimed good christians praising god isn't what get them to heaven, that living a hypocritical life is a hellbound life.
You'll see the darker side and sexual pleasures of angels, and even more sadistic and abusive side of the demons.
Angels and Demons will look like everyday humans, only with one difference, an insignia in their eyes, and the color of their eyes.
Its starts off in current day America and moves all the way to Japan, Russia, and Egypt.
So this is a really mature manga compared to what is called mature now-adays. I hope to make an impact that only manga's like Hokuto no Ken and JoJo's Bizzarre Adventure made back in the 80's, when it wasn't all done on a damn fancy ass computer for perfect lining and nice pixels. And like those, isn't just going to be all about violence. It will have a good story. All the above.

Well I haven't read any of those mangas you have brought up but it seems like a good book. Also, why the hell would a christian find it offensive. You have to know when to seperate religion from society.

Sounds a little like the God of Phillip Pullman's Dark Materials series. I look forward to reading more. Chapter one could do with a little more work though. (language wise).

Some suggestions:

-you started with "in the 21st century.." but in the next paragraph you say that god sends the Angels in 1990, which is in the 20th century. Thats seems a little strange.

-in the second paragraph it says "Cody would grew up.." it should be "grow".

-In the last paragraph, you should replace "full war" with something like "all-out war", it sounds a little better (at least to me)

-Finally i think you should merge the first paragraph with the final part of the last paragraph into something like this:

"Since the beginning of the Earth, humans have been at war with demons. In the 21st century, the war between man and demon has still not ended. Mankind had begun to give up hope. Religions began to crumble. Life seemed as if it was close to ending. A frustrated and angry God sent down many Angels, but even God can become weak. It was time that he came up with a plan. A final hope for life on Earth."

Just some stuff for you to take into consideration. =]

STORY:
A troubled teenager, who has a violent nature. He is one of the God Sent Angels. Despite his angelic heritage he is very agitated and blasphemous. He has an unknown creature living within him, which might explain some of his violent behaviors. He kills demons with his bare hands, even though he has the element of fire and stone.

NAME:Taka Youkai
Age:15
Race:Human/Demon
STORY:
One of Cody's hunting partners. She is a very plain blank person but with strong will. Her disturbing past surviving in the wild is a great contribution to her hunting skills. She uses her element of both magnetism and electricity to make her pair of knives attack demons from a distance.

NAME: Synthia Youkai
Age:15
Race:Angel
STORY:
She is the other surviving "God Sent Angel". Unlike Cody, she is very draw to life despite her disturbing and violent past. She in the past was used for expierments, in means to create clones of her angelic blood. She has an attraction to Cody, and is also the twin sister of Taka. She has the element of ice and uses it to freeze her joints giving her extra speed and strength in a battle.

seems interesting but the races are too... common or generic i think is the word i wanna use.
u gotta be more creative with race "names"
like... in full metal alchemist they had Crimerus or somthing like that i dont really remember the spelling i dont watch the anime much, but the point is, they came up with a unique name for a human/animal fusion instead of just calling it a human dog
try to do the same for ur races
i hope u get what i mean
