Eron spent his time hitting all of the weapons and supply caches that he discovered when going through the Cryth computers. He started at the top of the list and moved down in order, moving from system to system, occupied or barren, gathering the supplies that Kyrton had worked so hard in gathering. Some were destroyed by the Vong in the occupation, some were empty, either by the Cryth or other opportunistic pirates, but the ones he did find were filled with enough weapons, ammo, power packs and supplies to outfit an army.

And that’s just what Eron decided to do. By the third cache he found, he started to see it was going to be a bit more than he could handle. He began calling in favors, bringing in some old friends to help load and begin cataloguing their new found fortune. As the list of items began to take shape, Eron had to adapt his plans. The sheer number of small arms and heavy weapons emplacements gave him bigger ideas. Kyrton was gearing up for something big. It would be a shame to let those plans go to waste.

After the first few group missions, Eron took the time to test the waters with his new crew and begin to lay out his plans. At first there was an awkward silence, the men assembled were already star struck with what they had seen, and now they were talking about organizing, bringing in others and setting up an underworld syndicate. Eron just put it out there and let it sit for awhile, he didn’t bring it up again for the next few caches. But then they found the shipyard…

It took a bit of effort, but they were able to take out all of Kyrton’s men and secure the yard, but they knew they had to move quickly. That was when it all came together. They needed a base of operations, to set up untraceable accounts to funnel the credits through, and a secure comm system. They came up with a list of who they wanted to bring in, and sent comm’s out telling them to come quickly. They made a list of places to stash the weapons and ships until they could gather enough crews and support staff to manage it all. Everyone was on board now. As the others began to arrive at the ship yard, they were briefed, and they were either in or out. If they were out, they were killed, and their ships were added to the fleet. No one could know about them until they were set up, this kind of operation and in these times, it was too risky. They were gathering quite the rouges gallery of professions. Assassins, mercs, slicers, forgers, pilots, smugglers. You name it, they had it, and more than one.

After the shipyard, things moved much faster. Eron sent out teams to the rest of the caches, and the catalogue of items continued to grow. Each crew had their ships fully stocked with arms and munitions and fighters. The web of influence continued to grow, with all the newly arriving members had others who they truly trusted they wanted to bring in. The selection process took the most time. All newcomers had to come in blind, and their initial reaction to the organization was monitored by an array of equipment, as well as Erons’ growing Force talent. The slightest hint of deception meant death.

By the end of the first month, they had the makings of what they wanted, and began to take jobs. They needed to establish themselves as a force capable of achieving any task. As they grew, they would be the ones hiring people to do jobs. By the end of the second month, Eron had his command structure down. Everyone knew their roles, and the price of failure. They were known as the Cooperative. Contacts were set up through local seedy information brokers, who could only get in contact with the Cooperative through an untraceable comm signal. The broker would leave an encrypted message, and the Cooperative would contact the interested party after a thorough background check. Eron wanted to keep his organization as low profile as possible until they were ready. He took every precaution to keep their anonymity.
