In 28 ABY the planet was attacked by Yuuzhan Vong forces; ultimately, the Imperial Remnant lost, though much of the planet was evacuated before the conclusion of the battle. While during the Yuuzhan Vong War, communications between the rest of the galaxy and that sector were severed, though the CSA was never actually invaded. Dantooine Dantooine is a peaceful planets, with rivers, lakes and grasslands all over its surface; farmers, along with the native Dantari there, were its main inhabitants people-wise. It was one of the first planets to suffer the Yuuzhan Vong's wrath, being captured despite the efforts of Admiral Traest Krey'fey; many solders and Dantari died in the battle. Dathomir Dathomir is home to the Nightsisters and Dathomiri Witches, native Force Groups that inhabit the planet. The geography of the planet is looked upon by many as beautiful, with its snow-capped mountains and rolling hills. The planet was attacked by the Yuuzhan Vong in 27 ABY, but because of the native Force groups inhabiting the planet, they never truly ruled it due to the fight they put up. During the Yuuzhan Vong War, Garqi was conquered by the alien invaders, but the inhabitants of the planet formed a resistance group to fight against them. Mandalore Mandalore is the home planet of the fierce Mandalorians, a warrior group that is well known throughout the entire galaxy. Despite the violent people that inhabit it, Mandalore itself is a peaceful looking planet; a few years into the Yuuzhan Vong War, the planet was attacked by the alien invaders, but the Mandalorians managed to fight them off.
