The Warrior, Archer, and Sorcerer entered the town of Tristram, seeking fame, riches and glory. What they found was far worse. They located a town concealed by lies, misled by distrust. They had a hole directly to Hell's depths in the backyard of the town's chapel.

After reaching Diablo himself, the battle was long and hard, but in the end, Diablo fell at the united effort of the three. Yet, possessed by the power of Diablo's soul-stone, one of the three took the stone from the forehead of Diablo, and forced it into his own. He turned on the other two, killing them with little struggle, since they were taken unaware.

Diablo possessed the body of the mortal, and begun transformation into his former self, that of a red devilish ruler of Hell, one of the three brothers -- sons of Lucifer. As you travel, always into the West, you battle to retain the demon within your body. Fighting a losing battle, you begin to lose hope, and lose yourself.

Upon reaching Mephisto, the Dark Wanderer was taken over by Diablo, the Lord of Terror. Mephisto, the Lord of Suffering, conjured forth the powers of Diablo's soul-stone, and back to his rightful self, he entered Hell's Gate.

Tyreal destroyed the World Stone, the only connection that gives magic to Earth realm, the only connection to Hell from Earth, that was the source of all evil. The 3 brothers whom fought for dominion over Hell, and extended their rule over to Earth, were no more.

With the "death" of Baal (the Lord of Destruction, the 3rd and only remaining brother of Lucifer's sons) -- Tyreal (the chosen angel of God) destroyed the World Stone with his sword. And it was ended, so they thought.

Ending Scene: Baal retrieves Diablo's soul-stone

The old man whom followed the "Dark Wander" (Diablo) throughout the second game, was living his life out in the insane asylum. It was there, Baal came to him, in the form of Tyreal, to retrieve the soul stone of Diablo. After handing it over to Baal, the power of Hell was given unto Baal, as he walked out of the asylum, burning all in his wake.

The scene closes, leading up to the ultimate battle between Hell and Earth -- Diablo 3.

Thats amazing.

I like Diablo although LOD started to get a little stale after years of skilling and messing around, I actually started RS due to it being mentioned on my old clan forums

Though I see nothing mentioned about a new release

D3...OMG nothing would get better then that...

Yeah, I left Diablo 2 back in 2003, to start Runescape, because they ruined the game by adding 200+ new godly items, and the noobs had the same chance first day to game to earn the best gear, which me and my clan have been working since 1999 to earn our ****.

Also, not only did I quit Diablo 2, but I went out to find a new game that was free for our clan to play. It started in Dransik, which was renamed to Ashen Empires.. but it was only one month free, than you had to pay $8 month.

I went to Runescape because, the same as Diablo and Diablo 2, Runescape is free forever. I only became a member of it in 2004. But back in 2003, it was the only alternate RPG for our clan MF-D to join in, and then we became known as the National Guard of Gaming, because MF-D stood for Magic Find - Dominion, a term magic find, which equals the % of drops found above the normal rate in Diablo and Diablo 2.

So yeah, more than likely, when Diablo 3 is released (which sadly Hellgate: London was a hoax for that game, was turned out just as bad as Guild Wars). But when this game gets out to the public, I will only be in Runescape partly, in order to issue bans and set new ranks of world 9 channel. Majority of my focus shall be in leading our clan in Diablo 3, same as what I started the online website for in the first place, with clan MF-D over in Diablo 1 and Diablo 2 during 1999-2003.

Diablo III is rumored to be appearing at the WWI held by Blizzard on the 28th. A teaser image has been posted on every Blizzard-related website, and his update daily, revealing a new image.

The first image showed a rune that was one of the sword, Frostmourne, held by Arthas in WC3. Shown here:

The ice is opening more and more in each image. Could this be leading to the announcement of Diablo III? Post your opinions.

The images seem to be posted at about 2AM Central time every night/morning. Misha and I have been staying up and analyzing them... and failing.

Supposedly, the 4th symbol represents the three game worlds (AKA, Diablo, Starcraft, and Warcraft). Not sure how that helps anything unless it means they are gonna release something pertaining to all three at the World Wide Invitational coming up.

Of course, Blizzard could just be posting random things now to see what theories we come up with so they can laugh at us and shoot us all down in a few days. >.>
