About NAIWW:

Modeled after the world famous Hogwarts School, the North American Institute of Witchcraft and Wizardry is a similar school somewhere in America. It was started in 1998, and has been successfully teaching students ever since. We accept any student with magical potential (and some without) and are always looking for staff to add to our team.

The houses, points, quidditch, etc, are all the same, although, due to space constraints, the layout of the school is a bit different. You are sure to be welcomed into our BTV family as soon as you are sorted! Although, I must warn you, there are some very rough house competitions here. You may want to bring a helmet and some sort of weapon (I'd suggest a croquet mallet).

Some rules (because every school must have them):

We are trying to make a warm and cozy enviornment for everyone, so please try to follow these rules at all times:

If you are coming here to advertise something, turn away now. It will not be tolerated and you will be banned until 2881. Thank you.

1. Please, if you do not intend to be active here, do not join. We need active members, not people who join to advertise their site. We have a great group of people here that are fun to be around, and new people are always welcome, but please be active.

2. Don't post anything inappropriate, including: sexually explicit (or pornographic), obscene, vulgar, hateful, threatening or illegal messages or use any such depictions in your avatar or signature. Also, nothing negative on age, race, weight, ethnicity, religion or sexual orientation. No swearing as well.

3. No personal attacks. If you don't agree with a post, respond to the post's content, not the person who posted it.

4. Don't post one line comments. It's stupid and pointless. Only post if you have something to say.

5. Don't use chat talk, like g2g, ttyl, u, 4, neway, etc. Some people don't know how to speak chat and will be confused.

6. If you have any questions, feel free to ask a staff member! We will be glad to assist you!

7. Make sure to put a valid email above. I email the members when something important happens. Also, when you join, if it says you must be validated or something like that, please email me at thefinalhidingplace99@gmail.com. I can change that easily.

8. If you've actually read these, you may be sorted. We want you to read them before hand so that you can't say 'I didn't know'. When you are sorted, the word is malalakahui. You must be sorted to apply for any job, so that if you make points we know where to put them.
